I wasn't pleased with our stay here. I was traveling with 3 young children and at first, I thought it would be great - there are 2 pools, you're right on the beach, close to shops and someone on the maintenance team even carried my suitcases upstairs to my room (there are not elevators). We had a 1 bedroom suite which was a perfect size and layout, but that's where all the good parts stopped. A few minutes after we arrived, I tried to open the window shade and the entire thing fell off the window, cut my hand open and barely missed knocking out one of my kids. Someone came to fix it right away, so I thought, okay... let's begin again. The next morning I found out that the coffee maker and the toaster were broken (both of which were thankfully replaced quickly when I complained). On our 2nd night, one of my kids got sick and I called the office at 3am needing more towels. That's when I found out that the office closes at night and there's an security guard on duty. He was sound asleep when I called and even though he was on site, likely just doors away from me, he said I had to wait until the office opened at 7am for towels. When I explained the situation, he again told me I had to wait hours, even after admitting to me that he was on site and had a key to the office where dozens of towels are just sitting there on a shelf right inside the door. The next night my kids and I were woke up by a drunk person beating on our door. He was obviously in the wrong place and went away after a few minutes, but it was very frightening and after my conversation with the "security" guard the night before, I wasn't too confident in my or my family's safety at that moment. Other issues I had included ants in bathroom, a party atmosphere during the weekend (think coolers, cigarettes, beer cans, drunk and loud people everywhere), and dirty carpet - it's dark colored so you can't see how dirty it is, but all of our socks were black on the bottoms after walking around for an hour! When I checked out and told the receptionist all of the issues I had, she was super nice and apologized, but didn't offer to comp any of our stay. She said that the security guard was new and that he should have and could have brought me towels at 3am. At that point I was so ready to get out of there that I didn't even care. I definitely won't be staying there ever again and don't recommend it for families.

Great place to relax wide open beach plenty of pool space. Your just enough away from the crazy stream of ppl. You can walk toward that if that's what you like I would come back with a group anytime. Rooms are clean service excellent.

We absolutely loved this resort and will definitely be visiting again soon, as our two day stay was just not long enough. Everything was great about this hotel. Free parking for guests was awesome for our rental car and it was right next to our room. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so they upgraded us to a much bigger room for a small fee. The pools were excellent and very well kept. The showers at the edge of the beach made it easy to transition from the beach to the pool and the pool and beach lounge chairs made both places comfortable. We loved being right on the beach at an affordable price. This place is in walking distance to many restaurants, shops and stores and the peir. It also offers grills on the patio by the pool if you prefer to cook your own food. My only wish is that we would've been able to stay longer. We'll be coming back to search for more star fish and sand dollars on the sand bar and beach. That was a favorite for my kids.

Good location, easy walk around, clean bathroom andvely decorated bedroom. Not enough pressure in the shower. Easy to park an assigned parking space designated.
