Story

At The Office Coffee Shop, we’re all about three things: coffee, coworking, and community. When we opened our doors in downtown Royal Oak, we wanted to design a functional space that would allow us to give back to multiple charities every month. So, we set out to create a business hub where professionals across industries could grab some Michigan-roasted coffee, hold a meeting, print and scan, and put in a full day’s work. It’s a vibrant and comfortable environment built for productivity -- a place where small businesses collaborate and thrive while giving back to those who need it.

I was in search for a nice cafe to go study. I have been there once and so far I really like it. Prices are reasonable, and has welcoming interiors that I would like in a cafe unlike some other places in Royal Oak. I wish it stayed open till late but it doesn't.

This is my favorite place to get work done. Great location, great food and drink, and I love that I can rent out space as needed. The owner Mike is down to earth and is very benevolent. A portion of each purchase goes towards a non-profit of your choice!

I use to be a big fan of The Office, but the last two times I was there I have not had great experiences. Both of the times I went there, the tea was very watered down. Specifically the black tea last week. It is also always a busy place and hard to find a spot if you dont get there at the right time. Cool atmosphere and great service overall though.

So incredibly happy this place exists, they make the best drinks, staff is friendly, and atmosphere is trendy and well lit. I literally dread ordering drinks from anywhere but here

I really enjoy this coffee shop. I will go out of my way to get a large latte. The place is always so active and busy (in a positive way of course) My only dig is that depending on the baristas working that day customer service can be pretty flat (no smiles, little eye contact, and that freling of being rushed) I think the product is worth it thought. Tasty muffins, healthy breakfast and lunch options. The proceeds will go to one of three charities ( from helping the homeless, to service dog training, etc...). The Charities options will change from time to time. The office coffee also offers copying, printing, and faxing services and also the rental of offices or tablesfor meetings if need be ( I believe you can join a membership if you want to frequent the location). I live in Ferndale and will come all the way to Royal Oak just to have a better morning.
