Great ambiance for brunch, even when sitting at the bar. Food was excellent, one of the only places I’ve been in Fells/Fed Hill where the brunch was worth the money. We had the French Toast w bananas and walnuts and Huevos rancheros. Mimosas were a healthy pour and bloody Mary’s were made w a homemade hot sauce.
Amazing tavern with amazing food! The fried chicken sammie is so good. I do think the fries could’ve been a bit crispier and fresher. Also delicious local brews!
First time dropping in…I liked the vibe and atmosphere of this place. The bar has a very cozy feel. The service was just average. Lastly, the brisket shells and cheese had a weird taste and was a bit watery. There also wasn’t any flavor. I would consider returning to give other dishes a chance.
We did not start here but after trying 2 restaurants in downtown Baltimore on a Sunday morning and learning of the 1 hour wait time we ended up here. No wait, great service and exceptional breakfasts. I actually witnesed a server sweezing oranges for orange juice, FRESH orange juice! So glad to end up here. In the future it will be our goto spot.
Brunch at outpost is whack! The Johnny Ryall is a huge portion with plenty of flavours to hit your sweet and savory cravings. The croque monsieur with the tomato bechamel was equally banging. To top it off, our server was super nice! Only downside to our meal was that our table outside was really slanted, so gravity gave us a little bit of a challenge. Outpost is 10/10 a go-to for us any time of day! Edit: Stopped by for brunch again in lieu of other places that have insane wait times. The green steak & eggs see shtty pic is crazy flavourful. Outpost absolutely slaps! Edit2: The Tuesday Bubbles & Buckets special is also 10/10 bang for the buck.
Walked by this place and decided to give a try. I was promptly greeted at the door and asked for a seat at the bar. They have a great selection of IPAs on tap and the food menu looked impressive. I went with the Mango Salmon and I gotta say this dish was wonderful. Cooper behind the bar is extremely friendly and very attentive. I'll most certainly be back for date night in the near future.
Loved everything we ordered. Strong iced coffee. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back!
Outpost used to have my all time favorite Mac & Cheese. It was creamy, very smooth and came out piping hot on account that it’s served in a mini cast iron pan. You could get it with meat and it has these great bread crumbs on top. I would go out of my way to tell people to get it along with recommending the restaurant as one of my favorites. My fiancé and I would each order our own since we didn’t like to share…it was that good. I’ve lived down the street for years and go regularly. When we went about a week ago we realized they changed the recipe. Far less creamy, and it had a strange aftertaste. Our waitress confirmed they changed the recipe and added in a different type of cheese. She also mentioned that another customer recently brought it up to her as well. No idea why’d you change something so great. No one in their right mind would think it was better or even close to the same quality as before. Not that it’s a big deal but I also received floppy gray celery sticks with my wings. GOD I hope they didn’t change the chef, and I hope they realize the error of their ways. The celery sticks I can forgive and they do have other solid items, but if they don’t change the mac and cheese back I doubt I’ll return. RIP Mac.
Great neighborhood spot. Delicious, spicy bloody mary and great nachos. The mini nachos is plenty for two!Food: 5/5
My partner and I went here for brunch and are already really excited to visit again! The breakfast poutine was absolutely fantastic and I am still thinking about it over a week later! The service was also great and we enjoyed playing some of the board games they had.
