The Pale Blue Dot is so darling - you can tell a lot of time and care has been put into selecting the items in the shop, whether it's a modern eco-friendly product, or a cool vintage piece from the Cave (aka the basement). I had a great time talking to one of the girls in the shop! She was very friendly, informative, and genuine. I picked up some eco-friendly/bamboo products - a toothbrush, to-go utensils - and a really nice deodorant sampler from Routine (you can get the sample size for around $8 before committing to the normal size, which is a great trial option for sensitive skin types!). There are a lot of really cool products in the shop - re-fillable glass bottles for soap, shampoo, etc.; reusable wrap for lunches/bowls/leftovers that are made of beeswax and cotton, etc. All in all, The Pale Blue Dot is a great new spot to check out in Hamilton. I'll definitely be back! :D

There is no place like Greystone Fine Furniture! Truly a treasure in our community! There is something for everyone's TASTE and BUDGET-and a delight for the eyes. The first time I walked in I was overtaken by the stunning pieces and reasonable prices. I've introduced friends and they are hooked! Visit every few months to see the amazing new additions. Prepare to be amazed!

If you are in the Toronto area and are fans of art and furniture that have some history you are likely to suffer sticker shock in local antique stores. The reasons  are simple, Toronto is an outrageously expensive city and retailers pass on their high rent to their customers. Go further afield and you can gather up a reasonable piece or two. BUT at Greystone it starts with great furniture and good prices AND offers so much more in uncommonly good service and customer experience. Greystone has quality items at affordable prices. The pieces in the store are beautifully staged  so you can get a sense of how they will work in your home and above all the owners and staff that are thoughtful, pleasant and genuine. The store has won numerous awards locally and is now garnering media attention in Toronto. My own experiences have compelled me to spread the news. I cannot recommend them to you highly enough. I have no connection to the store other than delight at discovering this gem. One drawback is that the store does not deliver but this does cut back on overhead. Potentially passing on savings to you. Greystone's inventory is delightful and turns over rapidly so you have the online option,  the online policy is a 7 day return if not satisfied, to grab items quickly or you can monitor things at their brick and mortar store in person. Do inspect the pictures on the website for condition issues, if any this should be all online shoppers responsibility. That said the quality at Greystone is high. Best value  - furniture, collectibles and art. Prices are much steeper for Persian, Afghan etc rugs. Note: There is more goodies at Greystones Warehouse and handsome young men willing to help you load your trucks and vans!

This is a gem of a store! A huge selection of antiques and charming one-of-kind furniture and accessories at very reasonable prices. 3 floors of a house with every room staged beautifully-- it's like walking through an antique museum, where everything's for sale! The inventory changes frequently too, making each visit a new and interesting experience. Pria, the owner, and Kim, one of the staff, always make me feel welcome and have been very helpful anytime I was looking for something specific, whether it was in the store or hunting it down from their warehouse through the website. They also sell chalk paint and took the time to guide me through what I would need for my first "chalk paint" project. I definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for that unique piece for their home, an eclectic gift, or even just to visit for a fun shopping experience.
