Great hotel in a quiet neighborhood. We were on the upper floor with a nice view of the water from our room. Not a lot of traffic even though there was an event at the convention center across the street during our stay. Lot of good restaurants in the area with reasonably priced food. Would definitely stay here again.

Went to the lounge for a surprise birthday party for my brother. Great setup, plenty of seating. The appetizers were delightful but omfg it was like Hades hot in there. Several of us tried to see if they could lower the AC but they apologetically said they couldn't, that it was at max output. The employees were fantastic and the hotel old and gorgeous but at ninety something degrees and sheets of sweat getting in your eyes it kind of blots out the positive attributes and old world charm.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel this past weekend. The room and beds were comfortable. The front desk ladies were as sweet as can be and very friendly. I adored the decor of the hotel so much as well. Loved everything about it.

The hotel is downtown so it's close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment. The room was nice, clean and spacious. Didn't go to the restaurant but did the bar. The bar is very nice and the staff are great. There was a mix of different types of guests - couples, groups, and families. Noise and crowding wasn't an issue though. Will stay again.

Old school high rise hotel that uses Pensacola's vintage train station as part of their public spaces. The station-part is well preserved with a bar and restaurant. There are some odd looking shops in between which seem out of place; an after thought. Couches are grouped outside the bar where the revolving doors are, but the whole space seems sad. There's a weird "library" in the back with an assortment of old books and magazines around some beat up couches. It's located in the transitional part where old meets new. Feels very food court-in-a-dying-mall. The check-in/elevator area is functional, but worn and needs a fresh look. Front desk staff was pleasant checking in and checking out. Rooms had big floor-to-ceiling windows, so there was lots of light. The bay side of the hotel looks out over the civic center and downtown, with the bay in the distance. Clean room and nicely appointed. The furniture was beat up but the bed was comfortable. CON: the bathroom has a bizarre low ceiling and the light fixture created an eerie glow affect in the mirror. Not enough light at all. The bathroom was very cramped, too. Overall the whole property needs a modern overhaul. It's a great location and could be a real gem.
