I come here pretty often with my wife for dinner and it's usually a solid 3-4 stars. Tonight was an off night. They have excellent clam chowder on Fridays. Got a couple of bowls and they arrived cold. I mean barely above room temperature cold. Told the waitress and she couldn't be bothered with it. Flat out did not care. My wife got the steak, which I usually get, and asked for it medium. What came out was basically still mooing and was so full of gristle and veins that it was barely edible. The waitress was also the bartender and it looked like maybe they were short staffed with a kicking karaoke scene going in the other room, but her poor attitude and lack of concern for a possible health issue have no place in the food and hospitality industry. Bummer because the service is usually outstanding.

Tonight I had the pulled pork sandwich. Absolutely wonderful! Great flavors and crunchy texture with the slaw! Fantastic. Also, the service is top notch. Thank you Pit Stop crew. I will be coming back.

We go here for trivia a bunch, our server is usually pretty on point, but sometime overwhelmed b/c she's the only one working the entire dining room. The food isn't bad, but it's nothing to write home about. The beer prices are good, and the whiskey deals on Wednesdays are great.

Avoid the fish and chips. First order was undercooked, second order not any better. Batter covering was crispy second time but fish still rubbery and tough. “Scombroid poisoning, according to my doctor. Atmosphere OK but thought it rude when the server turned on a TV next to mine and added sound tho everyone else was watching with sound off. Nothing more relaxing than watching a football game and listening to the golf channel. That was enough, paid the bill and got very ill later that evening. Happy New Year Everyone!

Been here a few times and the service is usually ok. The servers are running both sides of the restaurant so we understand that it may be slower than normal service. Today's service was TERRIBLE and to find out that the server was actually the manager.. makes this review worse. My family comes in once a week for burgers and they are fantastic!! What makes this review bad is the behavior of the manager. Dropping F-bombs and she thinks it's social hour instead of attending to the customers. Was talking about her personal life and other stuff that just isn't appropriate infront of customers. I understand it's a bar but if I was in a bar with my friends this kinda talk and language would still be inappropriate.. do it on your own time. I had to find a cashier to get our bill and explained to her how poor the service was. Never asked for refills or if we wanted another beer. She just chatted away #janet with another woman at a corner table. I was pretty irritated and just wanted to get out bill and get out.
