Zero stars. Very Expensive - $22 for large pizza!  Tables were greasy and had food on them - had to ask staff to clean our table.  Even after they sprayed it and wiped it down, there was still an old food spill on it.  Served with a stack of very thin paper plates that were firmly stuck together. Had to ask staff for cutlery. Pizza was below average - ordered pepperoni & green peppers.  pepperoni was tasteless.  Peppers were few and way overcooked - soggy and shapeless puddles of green mush.  Crust was extremely thin. sauce was very oily, but did have some tomato flavor.

Just moved to CT and needed to find a place with good pizza.  Salem has limited options but fortunately The Plum Tomato is one of them!  Great pizza, Sammy The Bull is also great.  Everyone in there is always friendly, will be ordering often.

My first time here. My Mario sandwich was excellent! Everything was fresh and they bake their own bread on the premises. Good variety of pizzas and sandwiches to choose from.

Good sandwich , but the small eating area was not clean... after I finished eating my partner pointed out the big cobweb of spiders in the corner of the window above me.  Every table was dirty when we walked in, and I had to ask for the table to be wiped down. A good cleaning is definitely in order...

Very friendly service. Many varieties of pizzas and grinders. Can also buy pizza by the slice as well as cookies and treats.
