I've checked out a half dozen places in the area, and was waiting for the Point to reopen (renovations post hail damage) to make a decision. I went the day they finally reopened (after delaying opening multiple times) and I've gotta say, I'm not that impressed. I think they feel like they're the "fancy" style club in the area; honestly, the place in general has a sort of creepy old vibe to it, and a lot of the equipment seems to be older than I am. 
The only thing that they have going for them is that the seem like they cater to a small niche of gym-goers in that they have racquetball, squash, tennis, and a climbing wall (among others that you can find at other gyms in the area). For your average gym-goer, though, this is not the place for you. You can get better equipment up the road at 24 hour fitness (I didn't end up choosing here, either) for less than a third of the price. That's right, the Point is charging $100/month. A HUNDRED DOLLARS A MONTH. And that's with a contract... 
Save your money and go with one of the much cheaper, equally equipped options in the area.

Signed up at this gym to get in shape over the summer months because I would have more time to workout. Hail closed the facility (I understand it's not their fault) but then the reopening date was changed a half dozen times and always just days before it is supposed to open. There is no way that they actually expected to reopen in June when the work shows no signs of stopping come October. Now I have wasted my money paying the start up fee considering I was only able to go for a week and a half. Had they simply been honest that it would be closed for 4 or 5 months, I may have felt OK about finding another gym in the interim. However, lying about to opening date repeatedly has caused me to lose all faith in this management and I will be finding a new gym ASAP. Very disappointed.

Great gym. A bit pricey. But overall we love it. Only problem however is it sucks paying so much and then going pretty late to be told it's closed. Your hours say you close at 10pm. Been told a few times we're closing down at 9pm and don't let me work out or hardly let me work out. Hopefully this gets addressed, other than that we love it.

Five star place to work out, play tennis and socialize too! Huge workout area with many classes. The tennis training and staff is outstanding!  Couldn't ask for better, like a second family at this place!

I would have rated 4 stars until I saw that they dropped their year membership contract...so now you can sign up month to month which saves me the headache if down the road i decide to move...this gym has an awesome rock climbing wall, as well as basketball courts and raquetball...all which are free to members...and a nice indoor and outdoor pool and hottubs.  Also they have a tennis court although it costs money to rent that.  Great facility overall and very nice staff members/trainers/owners!
