Great coffee, excellent food, and a wonderful staff. The Poughkeepsie Grind is a highlight of the city. Close enough to walk to from the train station too! Don't miss the waffles! Every month there is a new flavor!

The quality of food, coffee, and service here is fantastic and the prices are at an incredible bargain! The baristas are also quite skilled. We were looking for an espresso drink that matched one from another shop we like and the barista was able to customize a latte to suit our needs and exceed our expectations!

Great coffee and excellent egg sandwich.
Nice owner too. Updated review: After many visits in the last six months everything on the menu us great. The waffles are awesome. The chicken and waffles are a to die for. Omelettes are made any way you want them, all fillings are priced ala carte super cheap compared to any diner in the area. This place is small and cozy, were the owner seems to know everyone's name. He remembers little things like "did you want double cheese" if I forget to mention that I do. (Single cheese is fine - I love tons of cheese.)

Great food and coffee. Owner is terrific. Small cozy place. Best coffee and egg sandwiches since I moved from NYC. After a number of visits I can say this place is exceptional. Omelette and home fries are delish. Another visit another great time here. Food and coffee are consistantly great.
