The Rental Girl is a Residential Sales and Leasing Real Estate Agency with neighborhood branches throughout Los Angeles, California. Each branch is operated by an individual rental agent and partnering sales agent to assist you in all your real estate needs: renting, buying and selling. The Rental Girl provides free apartment and home rental listings to renters. We have apartments and homes for rent in all the great Los Angeles neighborhoods including South Bay, Marina del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Hollywood Hills, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Atwater Village, Echo Park, Downtown, Eagle Rock, Mt. The Rental Girl is unlike any other real estate company I've come across. I'm from New York, where you pay for an agent and you have to hustle to get the property you want, as well as put in a lot of your own research to get the place you desire. I was pleasantly surprised to come out to L.A. and discover The Rental Girl who not only hold your hand through the entire rental process, but provide you with tons of useful information both about the property and renting in general. The service they provide should really be a paid-for service, but instead it is free. They even negotiated on my behalf which is something to not take lightly. You are getting a service that would otherwise cost serious $$, for free. The Rental Girl has been incredibly communicative, helpful and provide excellent properties that actually have somewhat of a standard, versus other properties i have found on other sites like West side rentals or Craigslist. I am floored by the negative reviews (a 1 star for having to reset your password?). I think some of the reviews on here and Yelp are extremely harsh. If you want an even more hands on experience than they already provide, then spend the money to hire an agent. There are no other sites offering you the quality of properties that the Rental Girl does and the quality of service that they provide....for free. I did not get the apartment I applied for, but was very grateful for my agent's active communication and helpful tips along the way. After applying through them, I know my application package is solid to apply to any other properties.

The Rental Girl is truly Los Angeles's Hidden Gem. They have the best curated listings!!! Their website is easy to use and I can view the properties based on the location I want to zero in. When you go to view a listing in person the agents are all so knowledgeable. They recommend all the fun places that you could check out in your new potential neighborhood. They make the headache of trying to find a new place as smooth as possible!

Wow! I've been following The Rental Girl for over 3 years now and am always amazed at their customer service. I just love staying up to date on their new listings (they always have the coolest!) and popping in for one of their 30 minute showings every now and then. Haven't found the right next home yet, but by signing up for their VIP list I am instantly updated when they get new inventory so I never miss a beat! I can't recommend this company enough!

Very disappointing and useless service. I am looking for a place to live in LA and reached out to them. The response was "We offer our listings to renters as a free service, but we generally don't work with individual renters to find a property in LA." So the "rental" girl doesn't offer any useful service to renters. Don't waste your time with them.

An absolute waste of time ..! Find owners that after asking $5,000.00 monthly for rent will allow you to have a frikin poodle ...! ALL your listings say 'will consider pet' or NO PETS and when you mention you have a small dog you are denied with a credit score of 742 and several letters of recommendations from prior landlords. PEOPLE damage properties, NOT DOGS ...!
