Arrived a half hour early and was greeted very nicely and immediately seated with our drinks. The waitress was very polite and explained to us that the kitchen was not open for another half hour. During that half hour she kept my coffee full. The Rex is comfortable and clean.The atmosphere is relaxing and just right for conversation. The fourteen ounce sirloin with sauteed mushroom topping was cooked just right and had a wonderful flavor. The side of mashed potatoes we're quite well flavored nicely with some garlic. The green beans or lightly steamed and we're very good. The half rack of ribs was also cook very nicely little bit different barbecue than I'm used to so it was good. The side of coral saw that it came with was also alright. The baked beans also on the side with a half rack of ribs I enjoyed immensely with a little bit of tang I thought they were very good. The food for the price was very good generous portions for not a lot of money thank you for the great meal.

I really enjoyed the lobster tails here. They did an amazing job at it and I would go back again. The only issue that I had is the price was a little high.

My husband and I request Beef Wellington for my birthday dinner.  The Chef called during the week and said he would make it for us.  When we arrived we were greeted by a great waitress, the Chef and the owner.  They also checked on us as we totally enjoyed every mouthful.  How special we felt and we always recommend the Rex for lunch and dinner.  Thank you all and Kudo's to each and every person working there...

This used to be a great restraunt. Over the years the service is spotty. And not the staff. The regular staff has always been great. Food can be hit or miss. 3 stas for shacky service.
