Excellent donut shop!! I needed a place close to my hotel to ride out a hurricane. The staff is extremely friendly and their donuts are divine!! They have so many to choose from. I chose the brown butter and salt cake. It was simple and delicious!! I also had a oat milk latte with brown sugar and cinnamon. So good!! I’ll definitely be back when in town!
I have been wanting to try this spot for a long time. So glad I did! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Made me feel like a valued customer. The donuts are eye-catching in size and detail. The flavors were to die for. My fave was the white chocolate tres leches.
Definitely worth checking out. Staff is friendly. Was not able to make it to the grand opening. But, I went Monday at 4pm. Plenty was already sold out. Nothing vegan was left. I used to go to the pop ups before they opened and the donuts seem smaller now. But, still tasted great. My 6 donuts cost $27.63 + $2.50 at the meter because I was in a hurry. ** Updated to include additional photos from a Saturday morning visit. Parked in the garage this time. Tried the cinnamon vegan donut and didn't care for it. It was the last day for it. However, the others were delicious as usual.
So I have heard a lot about this place, so I finally made the trip. There have been write-ups as being America's best donuts, so I definitely needed to try it. When I arrived, it was early and the person I dealt with was super cheerful and helpful trying to explain everything to me Blonde skinny girl. I did acquire a lot of donuts from them. Is it expensive, absolutely. However, this is far from DD or Jupiter Donuts JD, which is why it is a premium price for it. The donuts are big, airy, and light in your stomach. Absolutely loved the glazed. If you have had JD then you know how this is the complete opposite usually you feel very blah And that's being mellow on my description after a JD. Overall I cannot recommend Salty enough. For the first time, it was definitely good and worth the higher price tier. The donuts that were brought for other people, they also absolutely fell in love with the variation also. Surprisingly the Guava was the fan favorite of the bunch from the feedback from other people that also tried it.
so excited to FINALLY taste the donuts all of south florida has been talking about for years. my favorite was the white chocolate tres leches : ordering baked goods with a nut allergy is typically a chore, but Isabel, one of the managers, happily guided me through the menu options. i really appreciated her taking the time to address my concerns. the entire team did a great job on opening day. i will definitely be back for coffee, donuts, and the chill atmosphere; The Salty is for sure a vibe
Loved The Salty since their first pop-up in West Palm. Recently visited the newly open store and I liked it! First, really great location. Second, beautiful decoration and space to sit and work or enjoy some time. Finally and most important, their donuts! I have never loved a donut as much as I love The Salty’s donuts. Even the Gluten Free one is a great option for those avoiding gluten -not celiac-. Really tasty and always soft, creamy and flavorful! Will come back as much as I can!
Amazing donuts, coffee & service. I have been 4x and have never once left disappointed. After moving from Nashville, I hadn’t had a good donut in over a year. The donuts here changed that. The apple cinnamon donut is amazing and so is the traditional glazed. My favorite coffee order is the Cinnamon Cereal Milk latte iced. Once the espresso in it tasted off and they immediately replaced it and inspected every ingredient thoroughly. The decor is charming and the entire atmosphere is welcoming. I try to bring all my visitors here, if you are looking for delicious donuts this place is for you!
I couldn't wait to try a donut from The Salty Donut and it did not disappoint! I only tried one donut the Milk & Cookies donut. Absolutely delicious! The thick vanilla glaze and the chocolate topping is so perfectly balanced! Not too sweet. The brioche donut was light and held up to the glaze and chocolate! This is what dreams are made of.. really! The service was excellent and they were very busy on a Sunday morning. There was a full case of freshly baked donuts - so many choices! I can't wait to go back! There is inside and outside seating! Lot's of puppies and families, A very festive atmosphere.. They also have all types of coffees.. I will definitely try one on my next visit. All I can say is this was much needed at a location where so many restaurants have closed. A delicious addition and I highly recommend!!!!
Very nice service, donuts a bit hard and dense I'd like them lightened up a bit but good flavor. I have eaten a lot of gourmet donuts as well as "regular", and I think donut preferences can really vary from person to person. We tried brown butter salt, strawberry milk cake, glazed, and key lime meringue. I would come again. Very nice interior with plates and glasses available at self-serve so you can sit in the a/c and eat your treasures. Outdoors has tables too.
• Wait - 4/5 • Customer service - 5/5 • Cleanliness - 5/5 • Food - 4/5 • Cost - 2/5 An overall good experience. Their traditional glazed donut was delicious however the brown sugar sea salt donut was just alright. Nice clean space with plenty of options.
