The Samaritan Center is a Christian organization dedicated to relieving emergency needs. We rely on donations and are not supported by government agencies.
For more than 20 years, the Samaritan Center Food Bank has served the community by helping families and individuals with emergency needs totalling more than $10 million.
Joined by local Christian churches of all denominations, The Samaritan Center is a fun place where people can express their faith and their desire to make a difference by volunteering in a place where their passion is shared.
To be a Christ-centered organization which serves the physical and spiritual needs of people in Western St. Tammany Parish through emergency intervention and Christian Partnerships.
