Don’t do it.  I love to support others but this is a NO for me.  The greens had some flavor but it’s a whole leaf, so you may need to cut it up before eating.  The brisket had no flavor, dry, and tough.  If he is going to reheat the brisket before serving it then he should undercook it.  The mac&cheese was not tasty, oily, and missing cheese.  I ate as much as I could because it was 3pm and it was my first meal for the day.  Also, he kept talking the food up so that should’ve been a warning sign for me.  I wish I had something nice to add but save yourself and just don’t do it……….  Parking: Parking in front or on the street  Wheelchair accessibility: All flat

I love this new restaurant I just heard of through uber eats. Will have to make an in person visit to this location very soon! Every bite tasted like an loving, caring saint angel prepared each dish with a golden heart. Best way I could describe it!Food: 5/5

Stopped by for my lunch break, got a smoked turkey sandwich + side of homemade collard greens.  It really hit the spot, you can tell that the owner Jay puts all his care and effort into the food he makes. Everything tasted fresh, juicy and the bread was just the right amount of crispy.  Will definitely be returning whenever I find myself in the area for work.  Vegetarian options: Very good greens

Let's start off by saying this place was recommended by a Facebook page that I follow. I really wanted to support a small business and find a new lunch spot so I figured I'd give it a try. I went for lunch last week and I found parking right away the place was empty at 12:00pm. I got the Brisket with Mac and cheese, green beans and cornbread. Brisket was fatty, cold and sliced thin. Mac and cheese had absolutely no taste, looks like they threw some shredded cheese on top of some boiled noodles. The green beans I didn't even try because they had a weird smell. Honestly the best part was the cornbread. I spent $21 took a couple bites and threw my meal in the trash. Service was great food not so much.

this place is awesome!! delicious home cooked food for a reasonable price. the owners are wonderful. the food was so fresh and excellently prepared. the best beef brisket sandwich I've ever had! I can't wait to go back and try out their other options. excellent place to eat!

THE SMOKED BUFFALO IS INCREDIBLE! The brisket is to die for, like literally I’d die for it. Mac n cheese reminded me of my childhood when my southern grandma used to throw down in the kitchen. God bless this restaurant and its operators. Please continue to bless the public.

Burger is perfection!! Season well…nice new owners.

The fried chicken is amazing! Great crisp and flavor. The sides were disappointing. The mac n cheese could use some serious help, the rolls could be used as a deadly weapon they are so hard.

My daughter and I went there for lunch!  You'd never know it was there.  Not found on a main street!  Food is basically soul food.  Watch it being cooked/prepared from the counter!  Food is especially delicious!Food: 5/5
