Great! When you don't know who to tip because every staff member works together.. well, that's a great thing! The new owner is very friendly and spends most of his time in the dining area sharing stories, asking about our visit, and making you feel like he has known you for years even if you had just met. I wasn't to hungry last night, so I had a small side of potato salad, small side of Brunswick stew, and a few friends pickles. All were fantastic! Thick Brunswick stew, not skimpy on the pork contained within yet the right amount of bite and sweetness. Best in town- or ever friend pickles. Partner had pork platter which I sampled. On par with the competition that has been in business for years between jasper to blue ridge. Some would argue it may be better (locals don't like to admit their long time smokehouse got bested by a new establishment) Tables were clean and atmosphere unique. Neither of us had to use the restroom on our visit and sanitized our hands with wet wipes prior to eating, so can't say much about the cleanliness of the bathroom. I'd imagine it was as clean and inviting as the rest of the establishment. Good work!

Great food and a great staff. Taken over by new owners in June 2017, they really work hard to provide great country cooking at a very fair price. You can eat here for about the same price as fast food. The BBQ is slow smoked in the back in a huge smoker, you can smell the goodness when you walk in the door. The desserts are a must, save some room. Try the Walnut bacon cake, yes bacon on a cake. Looking forward to going back.

Breakfast is wonderful the only thing i didnt like is the black pepper in the gravy is a little strong for my taste, when I first ate here it was awesome! Seems like it tastes different now. Its still a good breakfast! A very nice place full of hospitality.

Pulled chicken very tasty and moist. Everything was delicious. Servers pleasant. Highly recommend.
