I came in for a "to-go“ order. The place was nice, but has a strange old odor to it. The staff was Nice, however, the prices listed are not what they charge you. I paid 20.80 for oxtails, yellow rice, and string beans, which were good, but I only got 5 pieces of oxtails over too much yellow rice. It was a rip off and I won't be returning. I never paid that much for oxtails anywhere.

Went last Saturday with my husband, great waitress. The food took forever. I had fried chicken beast, French fries and green beans. The chicken was cooked nice and crisp, now seasoning at all. French fries were French fries. The green beans were tasteless. My husband had whiting sandwich and two drinks. Came out to 30 dollars. To me it wasn't worth it at all. People that seated next to us waited 1 hour and half for their meals. Sorry but will not eat there again.

The Soul Food Factory was Clean which would have been a deal breaker for me if it wasn't ,the staff was very polite and attentive to my dining needs. 
  The food was really good. I had the fried whiting and cheese grits.  The whiting was good, not cooked too hard or dry and the grits were perfect with the cheese, not lumpy just nice and smooth. Everything was seasoned to near perfect.
   Got to speak with one of the owners who are brothers by the way. I informed him that this was my first time but would not be my last. He was so nice and pleasant as well. I believe that the SFF will be around for the long haul pleasing it's costumers with tasty food.  
   Do yourself a favor and stop by the SFF for a quick  bite to eat, you won't  regret if you do.

For the most part the food was decent. I had a function there in which the food was in short supply as well as it started late. Professional atmosphere & ambiance though I believed to have been overcharged for services rendered. Would recommend but just know that you should negotiate appropriate price.

I really like this Soul Food Restaurant when you walk in you're greeted at the door and you're escorted to a table. The place is well maintained and the Catfish, Yellow Rice and Green Beans are delicious. This is my third time at this location.
