Excellent service. I have an old truck and they have done repairs on it twice for me. Both times it was reasonably priced and timely. They fixed my truck air conditioner the first time after another garage had failed twice. I recommend them to everybody.

I'm not entirely sure how South Side Garage keeps receiving 5-star reviews, but let me share with you our experience. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner. After the initial inspection, we were told that our vehicle needed 3 parts replaced in order to stop an existing oil leak. After a mechanic performed all of the work, we took our vehicle back home only to realize that oil was still leaking.

Once we realized the problem wasn't properly diagnosed on our first visit, we took our vehicle in a second time. After a second diagnosis, the owner told us that additional parts needed to be replaced. In hindsight, we're now of the opinion that the 3 parts that were originally replaced never needed any form of replacing.

To their credit, the owner took ownership of the situation by ensuring us that the problem would be fixed at no additional charge. However, we were sorely disappointed with the lack of professionalism associated with the work and diagnosis, even though they capitalize on being an ASE certified shop. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we do business with South Side Garage.

11/14/2017 Response: We're well aware of the fact that you tried to contact us, but you were given 2 chances to properly resolve our initial oil leak. Unfortunately, you have lost our trust and faith in your business. When we flush out more than $600 of our hard-earned money in repairs only to find that the initial problem had never been fixed , then you lose credibility.

These guys are top notch.  High integrity, communicative and take awesome care of your car.  I am very fond of my car and don't trust anyone with it. I called a few shops around town asking about getting some work done.  Joe was professional, highly knowledgeable, and it was clear he takes pride and enjoys his work.    
I've brought the car to them twice for different things.  Both times, the car was fixed with a detailed warranty, great pricing, and even a car wash.  Super cool guys and amazing to work with.  I must note that I have an older CTS-V, for anyone looking for a shop.  I'll be a loyal customer from now on.
