The only way to control cat and dog overpopulation and the killing of adoptable animals is by decreasing birth rates. The best way to decrease birth rates is to promote spaying and neutering. Providing these services at an affordable cost is key. This has proven time and time again to be highly effective in communities across the country AND at the same time is one of the best things you can do for your pet to keep them healthy and happy.
After years of dreaming and several more of fundraising and planning, the SPOT Clinic (Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic) is now a reality. We believe that the SPOT Clinic will go a long way in combating the overpopulation problem in our own community as well as those in the surrounding area and are very proud to be the first such clinic in our area.
