The Summit is a community of men and women who follow Jesus and live out his mission to the city of Denver and the world.

Mission

We believe:

• Jesus changes lives today

Jesus is active today and is transforming lives. Transformation is made possible through his death on the cross and resurrection from the grave. We desire to proclaim this good news (“the gospel”) and the hope that Jesus offers to the city.

• Jesus’ followers should live in community

Life isn’t meant to be lived alone – we need friends and family to help us in the journey. God desires that those who follow Jesus live in community rather than isolation. This community is called the church.

• Jesus loves Denver

Jesus invites those who follow him to take part in his mission to reach the city and world with his gospel. Therefore, we exist not for ourselves but rather for the joy of the people of Denver. We want to bless the city through our words and actions.

In sum, we are serious about following Jesus. We want to understand his gospel with excellence, and as a result live well in community and on mission to Denver.

Everyone is friendly and nice. Not like other churches I’ve been to. Everyone is around 24-30 years old. I don’t feel a sense of pressure when I go.

Stopped here last Sun. during my Denver vacation and was blown away by the passionate teaching from their lead pastor and the truth that came through during the service.

From the worship service which emphasized singing (not just an entertaining performances), to the message which was not just refreshing but actually challenging to hear, to the use of the Bible throughout  - all of it impressed me.  

Right when I left I turned to my brother and said, "If I lived in Denver, I'd make this my home church in a heartbeat." 

Definitely felt the love of Jesus come through in the pastor's message. Regardless of what I think, the church isn't about what I think or consumer-focused Google Reviews. It's about entering into a community of believers and being the hands and feet of Jesus. That takes time.

If you're a first-time guest on the fence, I'd say take the leap and try it. It felt like a great church and everyone, young and old, were really friendly.

this was the most unwelcoming church I've been to. No one greeted me when I walked in, no one spoke to me until 5 minutes after I sat down a sweet elderly said hi to me and that was it. I felt so unwelcome and I didn't feel the love of Jesus in this place. So sad but I would not reccomend this church at all.

Church is on target with people who love the Lord and love others without dropping doctrine.  A wonderful place to share in community our relationship with Jesus
