My daughter saw their TV commercial, and wanted me to take her to the dentist, which is a first. Scheduling the appointment was very easy, we arrived and were checked in fast. They were on time with her appointment. Our dental technician Heather was very sweet, accommodating and explained each process to my daughter making her feel very safe and comfortable. We went in for a cleaning and x-rays. After the X rays we saw that my daughters permanent teeth are coming in behind her baby teeth. They suggested she try to wiggle them out or they can help with the extractions. To my surprise my daughter said she needed help. Which is the first time she EVER wants help, especially with something scary & sensitive. (she wanted no help when she first lost her first tooth.) So we are scheduled for 3 extractions. I love Super Dentists, and look forward to continuing my daughters treatment with them. I'm glad she will have a good experience with the dentist as she grows. Thank you !!!

Not what I expected! The atmosphere as far as the play structure was what you see in the commercial but it ends there. The technician we had was nice but no expert with children or getting them to do a procedure. The ladies at the front desk rolled their eyes when I asked a couple of questions beyond what they had time for and whispered after I left the desk. The dentist was kind but hurried. I guess the early morning with a packed patient load waiting will do that to you. Then for the worst part, the unethical billing. At first when they thought we were paying cash our bill was going to be affordable. But then I informed them we had insurance suddenly our bill went up by over $1000.00. I asked if I could go back to cash pay and they sad that it was the cash pay price. I am no fool to how insurance billing works -- jack up the price so the insurance company will pay at least a portion of it. It just isn't supposed hurt the patient or cost MORE! In this case my cash price before I had insurance was so much cheaper than afterward that is was shocking. We decided not to do the recommended procedures because we could no longer trust them. No one on-site could give me a reasonable explanation of this new pricing and they said an office manager would follow-up. I haven't gotten any follow-up. I did call them this morning and was ultimately transferred to a line that I could leave a message...I didn't. Instead I am writing this. THE TAKEAWAY: the staff is probably over-worked and booked to the max, they have UNETHICAL billing practices that make insured customers pay more then uninsured counterparts! All of this is to pay for the advertising and perks that drew us in there in the first place. Don't fall for it! Your average pediatric dentist is probably better! TIP: call ahead for pricing just to be sure you don't get hoodwinked but beware the phone answering service will make you wait quite awhile!

My child has disabilities and sensory issues, but the staff works with him to get the best possible appointment. We can get his check-up in a "quiet room", and they will make several, smaller appts, so not to overwhelm him with doing everything all at once. The staff adapt and find a way to get a procedure done without traumatizing him. Since switching to Super Dentists, he has made a lot of progress in cooperating and feeling comfortable when they need to work in his mouth. Our previous dentist was not flexible, and their only solution was to strap him down. I am grateful that Super Dentists for showing compassion to patients that struggle with sensory input.

This dentist office is absolutely amazing. My kids were having fun and we all appreciated the Super friendly staff. I was nervous because my daughter has anxiety and the staff here was empathetic to her needs and helped her to feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend this dentist, and give their entire staff thumbs up, high five, and thank you.

The Super Dentist - Carmel Valley is great! My daughter chose to go to this dentist when she was 4 years old because it was a dentist she saw that looked fun. We've been going there twice a year and she looks forward to her dentist appointments every time! The points system that they use keeps her motivated to keep up with her dental hygiene so that she gets the most points possible for not having cavities which she saves and uses the points for whatever prizes they have available. The staff, dental assistants, and doctors are so great with the kids and they're so easy to work with I recommend it to many people that are looking for a pediatric dentist and/or orthodontist. Not only that, they're all very knowledgeable and make the dentist an inviting environment. Their waiting room is fun and inviting for kids and it's themed with whimsical characters throughout. There are TVs in each of the chairs to keep kids occupied while their getting their teeth cleaned or worked on. I love that the Super Dentist exists because I never have to worry about battling my kid to keep up with her dental hygiene let alone go to an appointment! Highly recommended! Thanks Super Dentist!
