Server , Trevor gave great recommendations and had excellent customer service ! The food was amazing . Best grits I have ever had . The chicken is well seasoned cooked to perfection and cinnamon French toast was delicious! Honestly everything our table ordered was delicious . Thanks for the experience . Can’t wait to come back when I visit again .
Exceptionally friendly staff we’re from out of town and immediately felt welcomed, and the emcee even sang alongside me during karaoke. Like literally I felt spiritually connected to the people at The Model T by the end of the night, and I can’t wait to return. Nothing but love ‍Service: 5/5
Tonight would’ve been my first visit to this bar. As soon as I walked up this skinny old white man walked past me, passively said “We’re closed!”, and ran inside to lock the door in my face. I then called the inside of the bar to ask about their hours. It clearly says they close at 2am tonight. The person who answered was very rude and hung up before i even asked them about the hours posted online. Piss poor customer service and I never even made it inside! I will not try to support this business again!
On its best day The Tea can be a great laid back experience without the nonsense of the other prominent gay clubs. Unfortunately most days the T can be best described as mediocre. The bar staff only caters to patrons they’re familiar with and shuns everyone else. You can expect to wait 20-30 minutes for a drink Thursday through Sunday.
We entered the spot at around 845 and were ignored for a full 15 minutes then she tried explaining why she was ignoring us .........truth she was ready to go home. So the total came to 18 00 I gave here a 20.00 and she didn't even attempt to give me my change Sure I would've given it to her but she made the choice not me.
When I tell you this is the spot. I had a good time. Awesome atmosphere. One of the bartenders is really good and personable. I had a blast. Reminds me of the good ole days. Parking: There is parking on the roof. You access it from the side of the building.
Beware of the black light skin bartender Lance ! Very shady business with him. He doesn't wash his hands after handling garbage, he dropped a mixed drink in the ice and didn't change it out and he begs customers for tips. Looks like he's on drugs to be honest. Bad customer service will destroy a good business. Don't see him there long!Food: 5/5
I visited this venue on a Sunday evening. I waited and waited for over 20 minutes and no bartender would serve me or acknowledge my existence. I would not recommend if you are white. I never have felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome in a gay bar in my life!
Walked in sat at bar ...about 13 ppl inside ...I'm the ONLY blk ..I sat at bar ..wasn't acknowledge ALTHOUGH the bartender made eye contact 3 times ...it's about 4:45 a white guy comes from outside patio and stands next to me and SAME bartender starts a FULL on conversation and fixes him ANOTHER drink....mind u I haven't been acknowledged still....I waited an ADDITIONAL 10 minutes and then I was asked what I wanted to drink ..BY ANOTHER BARTENDER ...I RARELY post and I'm not saying this was racist but I'm just giving my experience and I wont be back
Local neighborhood bar. Very diverse & welcoming. The staff accommodates patrons from all backgrounds. This place no longer sell food. Patrons must order from Domino's or bring food from other outside vendors. Parking: Parking is tight on popular nights like karaoke. Thursday & Sunday's.
