We stopped by here midweek and were surprised that we've never heard of this place before. I recently went to The Breakfast Club in Houston and felt like this was on par with them. I had the pancakes and the "toasted yolk" both very good. The cakes were classic diner cakes crispy on the edges and simply delicious.  Mrs. had the country scramble which we could have easily split, however I thought the biscuit with that meal was a bit dry. Anyway this restaurant served real food at somewhat reasonable prices.  One of the better restaurants on this side if 45 in Conroe.

What a charming place to have lunch, brunch or breakfast served all day! The staff was very friendly and the food is scrumptious. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last.

My first time eating here was a great experience, the food was great and the chef even came out to check on mine and my husbands food, we both ordered pork chops and they were delicious. Will definitely be eating here again soon!

Highly recommended.  Generous, tasty, and well prepared omelets, pancakes, and other breakfast meals (including the eponymous toasted yolk).  Good coffee.  All with good, unobtrusive service.  We have been here several times on Saturdays, last time during the breakfast rush.  

My advice would be that if you want to avoid the crowd, come for lunch -- but I am not sure how necessary that is.  During the busiest time of the week, our wait was less than 5 minutes.
