We were surprisingly disappointed. The cafe was busy, and maybe our server was having a rough day. But she seemed to be annoyed to be there. She didn't offer to refill drinks. We had to find her in the restaurant to order dessert, after waiting for awhile. We had to find her again to ask for a to-go box, again after waiting for awhile. Maybe they need more servers? Maybe they need better incentives and benefits for their servers? But no one seemed especially happy to be there. The menu is a beautiful spread of southern comfort food. I ordered the steak & cheese sub, which was delicious. My husband ordered the hamburger with bacon & guacamole, which he described as "really good, but not $11.99 good." We added house-made onion rings, which didn't have much flavor. There was a roach crawling up the wall at the table behind us. I don't freak out at roaches, but I also don't expect to see them in the dining room at restaurants.

Great food and friendly staff in a family setting. Kind of loud as it is usually busy. Did I mention the amazing food!

Not opened as a rendition of the movie Fried Green Tomatoes, as we anticipated. Fried tomatoes could have used some real down home seasoning (cast iron frying would with texture& flavor) Burgers and fries were plain. Food is edible, staff is friendly, service was good. Nothing to write home about. Staff had never seen the movie.

We've only been there for breakfast but they have Good inexpensive breakfast good. Great service and staff.

If I could give it negative stars I would! The waitress acted like she hated her job never once checked on us and gave terrible service. But most of all the food was DISGUSTING! There meat tasted like rubber, the salsa is picante that you can literally buy anywhere, there potatoes are instant, and worst the whole restaurant smelt like some one pissed on the floor!
