I'm not sure what the last reviewer means by not having that diner feel. Sure, it's not in a diner car, but the huge jutting out counter with stools, the formica table tops (I think they're formica, that's how I remember them anyways), and the avocado green kitchen appliances definitely give it a great diner vibe. The food is just what you'd expect from a diner, and priced right too. I will advise that the hamburgers and sandwiches don't automatically come with french fries, so you have to specify that or else you'll get fritos (it says so in the menu, but I sometimes forget). The staff can be hit or miss, but even when your waitress gives you guff, to me it just adds to the diner atmosphere.

Heard some pretty good reviews for this diner so we decided to check it out. We both had a bison burger which was very good as were the onion rings. The service was pretty good as well. The place just didn't have the diner feel that we are always in search of.

Dam Diner is open early and only closes on Tuesday. They serve good, hot food with generous portions!
