Story

Welcome to The Twisted Tuna of Port Salerno Florida! We are the largest family owned and operated waterfront restaurant in Martin County and home to the famous Port Salerno Seafood Festival. With over 10,000 sqft of indoor dining space on two floors, The Twisted Tuna can accommodate functions of almost any size. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week and host a Bloody Mary Brunch on Sundays. The Twisted Tuna has 3 full liquor bars including our main bar featuring many flat screen TVs, our second floor Absolut® Bloody Mary Bar and our outdoor Malibu Rum® Bar. The restaurant is perfectly situated on the beautiful Manatee Pocket and has several outdoor waterfront dining areas that are both smoking and pet friendly.
Taking only the best from our previous South Florida restaurants, we have crafted a slightly twisted menu featuring the freshest seafood dishes, just the right amount of traditional Italian favorites and the finest sushi and raw bar selections available today. We use only local produce, we bake our own breads and some of our seafood is even brought in on boats docked just a few steps away.

This past Sunday I hosted a bridal shower for 20 at the Twisted Tuna and it was fantastic! I booked the smaller of two private rooms upstairs. The service, food, attention and ambience was amazing. Our every need was anticipated and I can’t say enough about the manager, Maria and our waitress, Angela. The room rental and price of food was reasonable and the room was big and spacious and overlooks the Manatee Pocket. We were allowed in to decorate ahead of the event and take down after. They provided printed, customized menus at each place setting. Even though this was one of their peak days, I did not notice a lapse in service. I ordered a seafood cobb salad as did many of the shower guests and we were not disappointed. It was excellent and plenty of it. In fact, everyone raved about the food. I’m a native Floridian so I’ve had a chance to visit many restaurants in the area and throughout Florida. I’m very picky when it comes to seafood as I catch and cook my own quite often. My back was to the table where the cake would go and after everyone was finishing up, I was about to go ask for the cake to serve and it was there! With plates, forks, napkins and server. Maria frequently checked in on us even though this was a busy day for her having the public downstairs and another event in a second room upstairs. We were there for 4 hours and time flew by. If you’re looking for a place for a private luncheon or dinner, look no further.

S'okay. Very friendly, upbeat fast service. But if you're a clean freak, or just expect a reasonable level of clean, this may not be for you. I felt like a fine mist of cola had been sprayed everywhere and allowed to dry, leaving every surface slightly sticky. The drink menu pages were so stuck together I could HEAR them rip apart over the noisy background. They have a wide variety of foods, mostly pretty good.

Average. We went for bday dinner. My snapper was good-except super salty carrots. My boyfriends tuna was little undercooked. Clam chowder was great! My bf received a slice of bday cake, with nice candle and song- that was great&yummy! They have so many choices of food, that they cannot focus on each. Live music was awesome, but at 10:30pm so many drunk people, one was throwing up in the water just in front of us which made us leave 😡 They need some type of security

They are so busy the waitress barely had time to be attentive. The clam chowder had a fishy taste to it. My daughter took 2 bites of her dish and no one cared that she didn't eat her dish. I enjoyed my steamed seafood, but the corn on the cob was cold. My 10 year old preferred a pizza from the kids menu and it was a huge serving. The best part was dessert, but it took forever to get to our table and was $10 for a single slice of cake. There weren't any prices on the dessert menu. The worst part was I spent the next day on toilet. We dined inside and it was so loud we struggled to hear each other. It was even louder outside with the band, music which drowned out the different music playing inside each time the door was opened, which occurred often. I don't think we'll be returning.

Nice friendly staff. Cozy seating by the water with a good view of the marina. Tasty and tea only priced menu
