The Underground is a student run nightclub located at Queen's University, since 1976.

The Underground is a great venue for events in the Queen’s community. As a student service, our policies are designed to make booking an event as simple and cost-friendly as possible to your and/or your group. We host a wide variety of events including socials, fundraisers, career recruitment, shows, birthday parties and more!
THE BASICS:
-The Underground is available for event booking on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
-Events are booked on a first come, first serve basis
-We require a $500 deposit (cheque or cash) AND completed event information forms a minimum of 10 days prior to the event date

-If the net bar sales of the event exceed $1000, the deposit will be returned and your event is FREE!
-If the net bar sales of the event do not exceed $1000, we keep the deposit to cover our costs of staffing etc.
-If you require a DJ, we can find one for you at the cost of $150, otherwise you are welcome to supply your own.
LINE SKIP OPPORTUNITIES:
- Clubs have the option of purchasing line skip tickets for $2 a ticket and selling them at their own discretion, for up to 50 tickets.
-This is a great option for clubs who are looking to fundraise!
UNDERGROUND STATS:
-Capacity is 350
-No cover (if a group chooses to sell line skip or cover tickets to the event as a fundraiser, they keep all profits!)
-$17 bottles of wine, $4.75 non-premium singles and shooters
