The Water Works Indoor Water Park

The facilities are really nice. Great pool spaces. I really liked the kids play area. There was far more for kids to do and play with than your usual play area. The whirlpool was a huge hit for everyone. The water was warm but not overly hot. Kids not constantly moving would probably get cold. I would recommend sandals for the locker rooms as the floor can get slick. Free key or digital pad lockers avalible at request. Dropped down a star because it was so LOUD, I could not hear my kid talking to me when they were right next to me.

We had 2 two year olds and 1 four year old with 7 adults! It took all of our attention to keep them safe but it was worth it. Everyone had a lot of fun. The whole place was clean and well kept up. The staff was helpful.

We really wanted to love coming here, and we do for the most part but the water is just not very warm at all so we never can stay very long. They say the water is 80° but I don't think that's true at all, there are a couple warmer spots right where there is water coming out of the pump but thats about it. The people at the front desk also say the air temperature is over 80° but that definitely seems like a lie. There is one part of the kid pool we would avoid because there is cool air blasting down from the vents. I expected the warm and humid air you find at a Great Wolf Lodge, but was very disappointed. A lot of little kids look blueish after a couple minutes in the water, including my daughter. She would be shaking after just a little bit, so we would sit by the hot tub and put some of the water on her Tim she warms up (I wish they had a "hot tub" safe for kids, she would love to swim and be warm. She is not allowed to even dip her feet in the water so we hold her on our lap outside of it.) If the water and air was warmer, we would come here most Saturdays, even though it's about a 40 minute drive. It's $7 for me (I'm not a resident of Schaumburg) and free for my little daughter. They don't open until around 5 pm or so on weekdays during the school year. The main pool looks nice and the cold temperature is expected, the diving boards and slides look fun too (I can't go on any of them right now though). The kid pool seems big but there are always a lot of kids and it's not ideal for small toddlers with all the spraying and splashing toys there. It would be a lot of fun for kids 3 or 4 and up though.

Very good place to take your kids all ages indoor water park and very cheap clean respectful people works inside I give it 5 stars.

Amazing indoor pool and water play area. Shares large building with other recreational activities. 3 big kid / adult slides, large toddler wading pool with 3 two slides, regular size pool and diving board pool. Also excellent for an easy kids birthday party!
