Whistle stop has improved over the years, the staff members who were extremely negative have been removed it seems and replaced by a great team. Due to past experiences I cannot give it a 5 star rating. The owner was less than satisfactory in responses, and I've had my poutine served cold before.

The food is delicious! If you're looking to get food for lunch from here (or anytime you're in a rush), I'd highly recommend just calling ahead and placing an order for pick up. It usually only takes about 15 minutes. Have had some far less than pleasant experiences here with staff in the past, but recently has gotten much better. We frequent here often and will continue going back.

Been at this restaurant several times so far. I've read online from other sources that it's one of the best routine restaurants in Canada and based on personal experience it does live up to that reputation. Depending on the routine and size you choose, it can be a fairly expensive meal especially if you choose to dine in but it's definitely worth to try this restaurant at least once.

Stopped here on the way to cottage country. Worked out great for us as we have some vegan/vegetarian friends and everyone found something to eat. Lots of poutine options. Highly recommend!

Good food, but our server was kind of rude. I asked for half onion ring and half fries, she just added on an order of fries without checking and drove my bill up 5 bucks. overall, pretty good, but could be better.
