On December 19th, 2011, Therapeutic Associates opened a new location in the Juanita Village of Kirkland.
The staff at Juanita Physical Therapy provides each of its clients with a truly unique therapeutic experience. We are committed to treating each of our patients with compassion, empathy, and integrity. We pride ourselves in a warm and inviting atmosphere, and welcome clients of all ages and walks of life.
Both of our Physical Therapists are trained at the Doctoral level, allowing us to provide the best possible care to the local community. Our staff also focuses on tailoring treatments to the individual and treating the whole body. Our first priority is always to resolve pain but we hope to improve the overall health and wellness of each of our clients.
RYNE
Ryne received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Augustana College in 2005, where he played football and worked several years in the athletic training department. His interest grew in sports and rehabilitation as a result of multiple sports injuries and personal experience with physical therapy. These opportunities convinced him to pursue Physical Therapy as a career. He became a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010 from Washington University in St Louis. Washington University is consistently ranked among the top 5 Physical Therapy Programs in the nation by the U.S. News and World report. In 2015 Ryne became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist. He is among only 10% of physical therapists in Washington, and 5% in the country who have received this certification.
Ryne is enthusiastic about working with a variety of musculoskeletal disorders of both the spine and extremities in the young and aging population. He has a special clinical interest in the athletic population, competitive or leisure, repetitive injuries, and promoting fitness through daily lifestyle habits. In his spare time Ryne enjoys playing basketball, participating in water sports, and hiking.
HANNAH
Hannah received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2015. The US News & World Report currently ranks Washington University in St. Louis the #3 Physical Therapy School in the country. Previously, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences: Allied Health from Oklahoma State University. She is currently undergoing coursework to achieve an advanced manual therapy certification from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Additionally, she has done volunteer Physical Therapy work in Guatemala through the organization Hearts in Motion.
Hannah enjoys working with patients of all ages with a variety of conditions. She especially enjoys helping her patients return to an active lifestyle including both recreational and competitive sports. She uses a combination of exercise and manual techniques to customize a unique treatment plan to best fit each individual’s needs. Hannah grew up in Kansas, and is excited to explore the Pacific Northwest. Outside of work Hannah enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and playing soccer.
