I retained Theresa six years ago to represent my daughter in a divorce action brought by her husband.  She has worked tirelessly and fiercely on my daughter's behalf in every aspect of the process. From custody, to child support, alimony and especially in equitable distribution Theresa exhibited complete knowledge of the law. Using aspects of the law with which I was unfamiliar, she obtained a division of the assets in my daughter's favor that amazed me. Telephone calls and emails were promptly returned and issues fully explained before a decision was made on actions to be taken. I recommend her with great enthusiasm to anyone who is faced with a family legal problem.

    Divorce isn't easy for anyone, and  when there are kids involved it's even more difficult. Especially when the other party is using the kids as weapons....I unfortunately started out with a different lawyer who was horrible, then I was referred to Theresa, and words can't say enough about what Theresa and her assistant Mara have done for me and my kids, they brought our family back together. They explained everything to me in a way that I could understand, and answered all my questions completely and in a timely manner. I never feel like a number with them, they personalize my situation, and make me feel comfortable when I talk to them. Theresa herself would follow up with me on weekends and even holidays, to see how things were going with the kids. She knows my financial situation, and works with me.I cant thank her and Mara enough for helping me through this rough time.Hopefully the smiles on my girls faces give them some indication how grateful we are. I am very fortunate to have met them, and would strongly recommend them to anyone going through this.
