Originally opened in 1983 by Lois Vander Weide as the Village Florist, our shop has been a part of Historic Downtown Pella for 25+ years. Under new ownership in 2006 we changed our name to thistles to better suit our style. We can do traditional styles, but excel in something a bit more unusual or high style. We are proud of our heritage and being a staple in the downtown community. With changes in the times, economy & ownership, we are thankful for our customers who have embraced these changes right along with us!
