I can't tell you how well the service was because I could not get past the rates that they charge!  $95.00 to walk in the door, which isn't waived or applied to the work if you choose to do it.  My smoke detector (14' high on the ceiling) was chirping. I managed to replace the battery, but it continued to chirp. Thomas Edison came promptly. The service rep was genuinely nice. I was floored when he said to troubleshoot my smoke detector was an additional $189.  To replace it would be an additional $400!!!    The company was nice enough to waive my call, but I will not call them again.  One additional note...I tried to get them to tell me the prices up front to save them a trip if the prices were not reasonable, but they could not provide me with the information.

We've used TEE twice and both times were charged about 4 times what we expected.  The first visit, 3 years ago, they charged us an exorbitant fee just to come out, flipped a breaker that had been tripping and when they left we still had a problem with an overloaded circuit.  It also took weeks and a few unpleasant conversations to get a partial refund.  The second visit was recent:   $1000 to change out a GFI box and disconnect solar cells on two fixtures.  I had to change the dimmer switch myself to correctly address the problem.  Buyer beware.

Thank you Thomas Edison Electric for the fast and efficient manor in which you solved my electrical issues! You promised me same day and you did same day and that in it self speaks for your company!  The technician that came to my home was polite and professional and my same day worries became a non issue! So thank you again, Thomas Edison Electric is 5 stars on my list for recommendation!

Thomas Edison Electric Inc. was a lifesaver when I was a tenant in a high rise building. My dental office lost power in the middle of a busy day. I called the landlord and he said he could have somebody come out the next day. This was unacceptable so I called Thomas Edison Inc. They were able to come out right away and fix the problem. Thanks to them I was back to work. They were prompt and very professional. I would highly recommend them.
