Buying used is fine. I don't think there are issues with those. But take care when considering a repaired RV. We purchased in Feb 2016. I've given it a year. We discovered insulation missing and the water damage covered up. The ceiling repair has now come undone and has pulled away from the wall. We ended up patching the roof correctly. They used silicone of all things.  We have had nothing but issues.  And truth be told if the one you are considering has minor repairs that shouldn't be an issue. It's the structural repairs you will need to keep a close eye on and micromanage.
