Thrifty is indeed thrifty! Prices here are typically a cut better than you'll find at the green machine. And that's particularly good if you know how to pick the best produce-wise. The selection is very good. Great variety in all the departments: seafood, deli, meat, veggie, fruit, and dry goods. Bear in mind this is a highly ethnic place...but then again so's my family. :) Highly recommend this place. Wish they were closer to us...

Not the best quality in fresh fruits and vegetables but the hot food section is so good and affordable. The prices, in general are very good and the variety of international products is awesome (mainly hispanic). Staff is very friendly!!

I shop here because it's right up the street, the meats and seafood can't be beat, and they have an awesome selection of produce. If you're hungry and don't want to cook, get one of their subs, sandwiches, or fantastic deserts. I don't recommend going Sunday morning because you're also fighting the church crowd for parking. However, it's just a great place to go to.
