I came here with a friend late on Wednesday night-- we tried desperately to find a decent taco place open that late during the week and failed. So we ended up at Thunder Burger. Having been here before, I knew it was a decent spot with great burgers, a solid beer selection, and perfectly alright service. It's actually a pretty nice place with a long, sweeping bar and plenty of seating and tabletops. It wasn't too loud yet not so empty that you begin to worry that you've come to the wrong place. 

The bartender was extremely polite and poured our requested drinks quickly. Overall, service and atmosphere are pretty good.

Things I Liked:
Thunder Burger - It seems as though you either love or hate the burgers here and I'm glad I fall into the former category. I personally love the plethora of customization options and find the ingredients to be high quality. 4/5

Things I Disliked:
Sweet Potato Fries - The fries weren't piping hot or fresh, as I'd hope they'd be. They were just merely average and I didn't finish the plate. 3/5

Thunder Burger had absolutely glowing reviews on Google and Yelp, so I decided to give it a try.

To keep it quick, it was adequate. The bun came out a bit burnt and crunchy (but toasted!) and some of the sauces and toppings I had ordered were missing. The burger itself was pretty good, but not the best I had ever had (although the toppings I did get were tasty), and the sweet potato fries I had weren't seasoned. I can understand if customers want to season them themselves, but for $4, I expected either more fries or well-seasoned ones.

I imagine I came in on an off day, so I'd like to give Thunder Burger another try - maybe the next time I'm in the city.

Cool atmosphere and interesting seating. The hostess and waitress was very nice. The menu was fun and different. Sweet potatoes fries were perfect. Menu has something for everyone.

For beer, you can't beat this place.  Sporting game and really nice staff?  A winner.  The burgers are amazing and you can get any topping you want, and they have other options if you are in the mood for different fare.  The price is right, a great stop when meandering the streets of georgetown!

We went to the bar late at night, had wine and an excellent chicken dish. The bartenders and other patrons were all fun and jovial. I highly recommend!
