Story

Thundering Surf Water Park and Adventure Golf is located on Long Beach Island in the heart of Beach Haven, NJ. We are the center of activity where you will find family fun and entertainment; great shopping; and a huge variety of places to eat or indulge your sweet tooth. Thundering Surf water park features 8 giant waterslides; an interactive multi-level water play structure and an especially dedicate area for toddlers only called “Cowabunga Beach”; a Lazy Crazy River featuring interactive water play activities both in and out of the river, including our mega water blasters and our giant tipping bucket; and our most recent attraction, the FLOWHOUSE featuring the Flowrider double. Relax on our sundeck, enjoy our Snack Shack with a variety of tasty treats, or stop by Olivia’s Cowabunga Beach Grill for a bite to eat. Visit our other lobby snack bar and ice cream parlor featuring our Fresh Homemade Italian Ice!

Our family loves it here.  It's become an annual tradition.  There are places to eat/snack, catch some rays,  surf,  tube,  etc.  Good for all ages.  Now have cabanas for privacy (extra charge).  Parking is a pain.  Get there early.  Credit coupons issued if it thunders.  Plan on spending some money.  Leave valuables at home/room and travel light.

Fun, but probably not as fun or as much to do for two adults with no kids as I'd like. Not enough to do for even 2 much less three hours. The slides aren't too suitable for fluffy size people, but I did it and enjoyed. The bathrooms are gross, things stuck to the wall when we played mini golf were still there the next day, guess they don't clean often or well.  Too much for too little. Staff were friendly and polite.

It's great for toddlers and little kids with the variety of slides and stuff for them to play with, but for ages 11 and up it gets worse. Only as I remember 5 slides. All the same except for a couple minor twists and turns. Wouldn't recommend for just teenagers or adults. The golf next door is nice though, would rate it 4 stars separate.

Helpful staff, and lifeguards were everywhere. They had 5 adult water slides to try, which were fun and had barely any wait to go, but they were shorter slides. We were bummed 2 adults could not ride together especially when the weight limit for the tubes was 400 lbs and together we were about 280. The lazy river is more fun than it looks from the outside. Flo Rider/Flo House is not fun enough to wait for or even try.

Beautiful, clean,  good food options, slides & water playgrounds for all ages. And I mean all ages.  Even your teenagers will want to come do the Flow Rider surfing.  Spotlessly maintained facility and life guards EVERYWHERE. Pristine water
