Ok so this week we tried two New Orleans restaurants in our area. This place rocks it way harder! The food was so delicious, like crazy yummy. We started with the shrimp and gator cheesecake which was creamy and like seafoody and great, followed with a shrimp and grits meal and a chicken and waffles meal. Both were amazing and had huge portions. Topped it off with benets that were like flaky funnel cakes and also great and two hurricanes! Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and also went out of their way to make the meal really enjoyable. We love this place!

The food is amazing and we returned after our first experience. However, this time our server was in such a rush that we didn't get to enjoy the food. She clearly wasn't having a good day and we are not demanding people, so as long as you take my order, get my food and maybe a refill on drinks we will be happy. It wasn't even 10 minutes that I had my main course plate, same as another person at my table, when she was already asking if we wanted dessert. I suggested that I didn't know yet since I hadn't finished my food. She then proceeded to bring the check "while I decided if I wanted dessert". I couldn't even finish the other half of the plate that I was actually enjoying very much. Once she brought the check to the table I was still eating but then asked for a box since it was clear that she didn't want us to be there. Not sure if she wanted that particular line of tables to be clear quickly but that was not the way to do it. We went for an special occasion and we left with a bad taste, and sadly not from the food but from the service. I am the type of customer that I always leave 20% no matter what but his time I thought that it was appropriate to tip the minimum this time. I would gladly speak with the management about my experience. This is a great place ! But the management needs to be really careful and train their personnel accordingly. Thank you.

By far one of the best experiences in a long time. Started off with a cup of seafood gumbo... yummo gumbo, 1/2 & 1/2 po boy of shrimp and oysters,  again hands down a fabulous winner!!!! And because I hadn't had etouffee or seen it on a menu in years, I got a bowl of crawfish etouffee to go for lunch for the next day (Which I actually ate at 9 am ☺)  It too was AHHHHHHMAZING! Just moved to Winter Park but Tibby's is by far at the top of my fave list.  Thanks Brett at the bar,  very helpful and fun to chat with.
