True truck stop mainly to service truckers. There is a cafe located here as well but we did not go in. We stopped to see the live tiger, but sadly "Tony" passed away in October 2017, just 4 months ago. Looks like he had a nice place to live with a lot of room. We were told he was born there and lived all his life there, and passed away from old age. When we asked if they would be getting another tiger soon, we were told no because activists have made it against the law to own a tiger now only within this parish. So I give the truck stop only 3☆ since we stopped to see the tiger they have advertised and he is no longer there. My daughter was excited to see him and was disappointed to find out he had passed away. :(

I was worried about stopping here after reading some of the bad reviews but this place is a great laid back old school truckstop. Great customer service and everyone is friendly. Got the Cajun chicken dinner at the cafe and it tasted homemade plus they also serve beer. Server was nice plus all employees said hi and were friendly. You can't be in a hurry at this place since it's that old school southern hospitality where everyone talks with each other. The sell beer and liquor at the fuel island plus some to go chicken. Bathrooms could use a remodel but besides that a nice quiet place to do a 10 or 34 at.

Good place to get coffee and snacks. Gas pumps are not really friendly if you are pulling a trailer. Plenty of parking room though. They used to have a live tiger but he apparently has passed on.

Great place to stop. Awesome people here. Very friendly and the turkey wing ans taters were off the chain. See you guys again soon.

Michael, the owner, got "Tony the Tiger" when he was only 6 months old & raised him like his own child until the ripe old age of 17 & 1/2 years. Michael took very good care of Tony...with the best of food, vet care, & a very nice enclosure that far exceeded the requirements by law. Tony's enclosure was much better than most zoos & sanctuaries. In fact...Michael had to have an exhibition license (the same as a zoo) & was inspected like all zoos are. Tony was an old man who had arthritis in his hips, was ill, & his medicine was no longer working which led Michael to humanly euthanize his baby. Tony was loved & will be missed by many people. RIP my friend!!!
