Avoid this place. Other steakhouses offer much better food at similar prices. We ordered the prime rib with mashed/baked potatoes and green beans, around mid-afternoon. The meat was tasteless and mushy, the green beans overcooked and unseasoned, the mashed potatoes virtually fat-free (not good) and, yet again, tasteless, and the baked potato seemed rather stale. On a positive note, the blooming onion was nearly perfect. As for atmosphere, the ceiling panels were unbelievably dirty in places. Watch out for slippery floor tiles around the restrooms!

Terrible experience. Ordered 3 entrees and six kids mac and cheeses. Food came out in three seperate trays each 15 minutes apart. We had a reservation and were there for two hours because the food took so long. The waitress said she had no help to carry the food and the manager blamed the kitchen staff.

Do not eat here. Waited over an hour for our food. When we asked about the delay we were told it was because we ordered "well done". Wife ordered chicken I ordered medium. Then we were told it was because the printer in the kitchen quit working. When we pointed out that guests that had ordered after us had been served we were told that the manager would come over and discount the bill for the mix up. Never saw him our her. When we finally got our food the veggies were cold. Finally just ate paid and left. Won't go back. Nice job Timber Lodge.

Their kids menu has no age limits but the waitress gave me a hard time when I ordered off of it. She refused my drink and dessert but still charged the full price. I would have ordered it off of the adult menu but chicken fingers weren't an option. I ordered a cocktail and such so it wasn't because I was being cheap, I just didn't want a ton of food. Not very impressed. Please add age limits to your menu if you don't want anyone ordering off of it.

Stopped in with friends... Waitress was great. Fun, outgoing, not afraid to mix it up with us. Food was perfect as usual. One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Minnesota.
