Story

Treehouse Rentals & 18 Hole Mountain Disc Golf Course. Our main treehouse is 1200 sq. feet, two story with a full kitchen, living room, two baths with a Jacuzzi tub, sleeps 8 and comes with all the amenities including Wifi. We offer a second one room treehouse rental with all the amenities along with small primitive treehouses spread throughout the disc golf course.

With over 50 acres bordering the White Mountain National Forest and 8 acres of mountain top and ledges, this makes a perfect location to place these rustic Maine treehouses and an 18 hole mountain disc golf course - over a mile long. Throughout the course you will be throwing from ledges over 15' high or tee pads made from cobble stone pavers. We have rustic log handmade benches throughout the course for resting. With the course ending along the mountain ledges, players can truly enjoy Maine's natural beauty.

Stayed in the Grand Oak! Beautiful accommodations and friendly owners. Situated right on the Frisbee golf course was excellent and there were great short trails to explore. Will be going back again and would recommend to friends and family alike!

the disc golf adventure was more fun than i thought it would be. the hiking in the area led to some beautiful vistas at the summit (after a very, very challenging ascent). the people there were super nice, thoughtful and helpful. would definitely come back to do the disc golf again. maybe check out a treehouse.

Timberstone adventures was such a beautiful experience. Staying in the tree house was such a fun experience by itself, but the disc golf and hike made it even better. This is a hidden gem!

Great treehouse cottage - stayed in the Spruce. Cozy with amenities. Disc golf course was a massive plus and a legitimate course at that, coming from someone who throws 1-3 rounds per week. Will absolutely visit again!

Great place to stay! Owners are great people! I stayed here with my wife and two kids who are ten and twelve in August 2017. So we weren't into disk golf but we did take the hike to the top of the property and then down the trail through the White Mountain National Forest. The hike was a little bit of a challenge as the first part is pretty much a steep uphill and then it flattens out before heading downhill. We followed the trail down to Virginia Lake which is pretty secluded with a small sandy beach but very clean and fun. We also drove to North Conway NH which is always fun. Its about a 45 min. scenic drive with lots of places to stop along the way if you wanted to. As it is now, they have three of their Tree houses for rent, The Grand Oak, The Spruce and the Birdie. We stayed in the Spruce which I would compare with a typical Maine or New Hampshire small cabin with one exception. It was up off the ground in the trees! It was clean, new and pretty well equipped. Just what you would want if your wife or kids weren't into roughing it in a tent. Not a 5 star hotel or tent mind you but you get that camping feeling while your there. There is Air Conditioning (small window unit) , bathroom with shower , and a small refrigerator and small stove. There is also a good size deck that is great for sipping morning coffee and eating meals cooked on the grill outside. While we were there we were offered a tour of the Grand Oak by one of the owners who I can honestly say seem more like the neighbors who will help you with anything when you ask or always say hello, more than business people. The Grand Oak Treehouse is much more luxurious and even offers a jacuzzi bathtub along with unbelievable interior design and decor. Staying in the Grand Oak would not be considered camping in my opinion but would be a great place to stay for a special occasion or just a weekend or ski getaway. It also sleeps many more people. They also have the Birdie Tree House for rent. This treehouse is in a more secluded spot and would be more like camping in a tent, but again its a treehouse. We ran into a father and son at the community fire pit who were staying for a week in the Birdie and they seemed to love it. It has an outhouse I believe and 12 volt led lighting so its much more like tent camping. They are also in the process of building another "Treehouse" at the top of their property that will be very impressive. We were able to see it during its last stages of construction on the hike to Virginia pond. Again its pretty impressive just because of the location. I will estimate it would be about 2 to 3 stories tall. Again this is all at the summit of the property. The view will be unbelievable! If I remember correctly the owners told me that most of the wood used to build all of the treehouses was taken directly from the site. I would not think twice about staying again!
