We absolutely lived our dinner here. Had reservations for a Friday night. Waitress was excellent. Sequencing of courses was perfect. Menu was the right size. We had been here when it was called Duo and loved it... like the website said, it's only in a name.
Duo was great for a date. The service here is amazing and the food is very good. I really appreciated the ambiance and seating. The ambiance was nice to hear each other speak clearly and easily. The seats were comfortable too! I recommend it as the go to spot in Brattleboro!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: NoDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: No
Every bite was a joy! Melt-in-your-mouth Brussels sprouts, seared salmon, Vegetarian risotto, not your ordinarysteak and fries grapefruit parfait...just a few of our favorites. Also the Main Street Beet Down and house made sodas! Plus a wonderful server thank you, Jenny! and the always delightful atmosphere. A truly exceptional meal. Dietary restrictions: I was impressed by a wide range of delicious items for different dietary needs, all made superbly and with creative flavors. Just as much care and attention was given to these as the meat choices.
The food here was delicious and fairly priced. We ordered the Brussels, charcuterie, and the buttermilk fried chicken which all tasted amazing. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the service was slow. I totally recommend this restaurant if you are not in a rush because it is a great place but if you are looking for a quick meal, it might not be the best option. Vegetarian options: Many vegan options on the menu Kid-friendliness: Good kid options if you ask
One of, if not THE best meal I've had in Bratt. The brussel sprouts were amazing, the ribs were cooked to perfection. My husband, a chef of 20 years, was impressed! He even complimented the chef, which is high praise from him. The waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive and really went above and beyond. The drinks were strong and plentiful and affordable. We will be back! Kid-friendliness: We called ahead and they special prepped a meal for our picky eating daughter Parking: Plenty of parking in downtown, the harmony lot is nearby and tons of street parking. There's also the high street parking lot.
Came here twice, once for dinner and then we came the next morning for brunch and it was a lovely experience both times. Loved the farm to table local ingredients utilized in the menu. Their wine list was extensive as well. Both times that my boyfriend and I came, we didn’t have a reservation and thankfully they were able to give us a table with no wait time. The only reasons this place gets a star off is because the squash appetizer was underwhelming, and because my scallions entree came with some substitutions that I was not made aware of prior to ordering. Perhaps if I had known about these changes I would have ordered differently, even though the dish was fine anyways. Otherwise, a great experience.
I had dinner at Tine while visiting some friends, who are more like family, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. From the moment you walk in you feel the ambiance of a perfect small town, which is equally paired with an awesome seasonal menu. Libations that were a big hit were the The Beet Down, & French 101. The table shared the Roasted Curry Cauliflower & Bean Dip, which was absolutely delicious, along with the fried Brussels Sprouts and a Raw Beet and Ginger Dip. Entrees we superb, I tried everyone’s. The salmon, steak frites, fried chicken and the Clams over linguine we all cooked perfectly and looked beautiful on the plate. My biggest disappointment was not leaving room for dessert. I saw a few go by the table and still regretting it. We talked to the owner Jason for a long time, he’s incredibly kind and fun. Fun fact- he told us that Tine is the name of the prong at the end of the fork. Chef Rikki is so talented, her menu is diverse and creative. This place is such a gem to Brattleboro. Cheers!
A wonderfully delicious evening at Tine that began with a cool crispy mixed green salad of sprouts , cucumber , watermelon and lilac radishes with honey chèvre cheese. A lovely Brut Champagne was served while we began our main meals of pasta with delicate clam sauce and herbs also a classic juicy buttermilk fried chicken with a very flakey biscuit and a refreshing apple slaw. Our Belly Gods were delighted !
One of the best restaurants in town. Amazing food and drinks plus a fantastic atmosphere. I would eat here every night if I could!
Shining Star In Brattleboro Visiting Brattleboro from NYC by way of Wilmington, VT. Read great reviews and the menu looked interesting. The food was beyond fantastic. Started with a cocktail - Green Street Sling, and two appetizers: Pork Belly and the Tater Tots. Both were great. Highly recommend the Pork Belly. I'm usually not a fan of lentils but it gave a great texture balance to the savory pork belly. I chose special of the night, the Faroe Island Salmon with shaved asparagus, asparagus pesto, edamame, on cavatelli. Crispy skin too! My husband got the Duck Confit. Meat was so tender and the roasted root vegetables were delicious. Beautifully plated and served with fantastic hospitality. We'll be traveling back those 40 mins from Wilmington next time we're up for another one of these meals.
