Phenomenal! The palm cakes? Amazing. The NY strip, fantastic. The cocktails are the bee's knee's no seriously, the bee's knee's is a wonderful drink, I ended up having two, and then an espresso martini for dessert! Speaking of dessert, make sure to bring someone to share with because it's a lot. Small menu means that what they do, they do to perfection. I will remember that night out for the rest of my life. Phenomenal, phenomenal job Chef Corbin, and your waitstaff was just top notch, what a crew!
Nice dining area, small space and what appears to be limited tables but we made a reservation. Good menu choices, highly recommended the warm apple tart for dessert. Steak tips were delicious, swordfish and the veal too. Veggies were really tasty and the potatoes too. I was disappointed with the soup, cream of shrimp? otherwise we’ll try again.
A perfect night out. Emily was a charming and efficient waitress. The food was outstanding. The mussel appetizer should not be missed. My trout was perfectly cooked with a scrumptious creamy risotto. The vegetables were Al dente. My husband had a pasta special that he really enjoyed. Don’t leave without trying at least one of the desserts.
The tuna tartare is awesome! I love their duck breast as well! They have a generous size of fries.Recommended dishesTuna Tartare
Peter Haven's is 10/10, A++, amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone reading this review. The prices are not necessarily the most affordable, but the quality and flavor of the food is 100% worth the price tag, I promise. I dream about their Long Island duck entree. I had a mussels appetizer last spring that was so delicious it brought a tear to my eye. The servers are kind and patient, knowledgeable, and really round out the incredible experience that is Peter Havens. Their wine selection is great, cocktails are interesting and inventive, and they bring bread to your table, which is just the icing on the hypothetical cake they've baked for us all. If you are considering dining at Peter Havens, do. Just make sure you reserve a table first.
They Oyster Bar is my favorite place to eat in Brattleboro. The service is impeccable and the food is always amazing. Do not pass this restaurant up, oysters are not the only thing they have to offer. The main dining room is the perfect destination for whatever you are looking to eat. They provide a little something amazing for every palate.
The Oyster Bar Review: The service here was amazing. The staff working tonight were friendly and professional. The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. Like many places here in Brattleboro there wasn't any parking but there were places to park nearby. I am looking forward to going back soon.
So excellent. Everything is top-notch. Definitely a special occasion place. Reservations highly recommended but eating at the bar is fun too. One of the best restaurants in town. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are delicious!
From the moment we walked into the resaturant, I knew that we had made an excellent choice. The ambience was wonderful with bold yet subtle colors on the walls, tables discreetly spaced by 6' with small lamps, with shades providing the perfect lambent light. When the menu arrived, my inital assurance was justified as the menu was apropos for Phildadlephia. For appetizers, they offered tuna tartare, escargots, and duck foie gras. For the main course, they offerd pan seared salmon, duck breast, two types of steak, and for speacials, lamb and swordfish. Our appetizers and main course were perfect...drinks too. Too full for desert. A+++
I had a lovely Saturday night dinner here. The restaurant is spacious and tables are far apart, making for an intimate meal. I highly recommend the duck and truffle mashed potatoes. Service was excellent.Dine in: Yes
