I recently had lunch here and was impressed. The prices were great and the food was better. We sat in the patio outdoors and it was beautiful. Plenty of umbrellas for shade and an outdoor wet bar as well. Go visit this place you will love the authentic Mexican dishes.

This place is so good!! We had been looking for an awesome Mexican place that was closer to home and even though Tio Gordos is still about 40 minutes away, it's definitely worth the drive. The food tastes authentic and the menu is not huge. However, everything they make they make incredibly well. The enchiladas are great (the seafood has shrimp and scallops!) and I highly recommend them with the verde cream sauce. We were just there yesterday and I already want to go back. The prices were very reasonable too.

Tio Gordos is our favorite stop for Mexican in all of Michigan! The food is wonderful and we always have leftovers. During our last visit, our server Eric was fantastic. He answered all of our questions and gave fast, friendly, and accurate service. We will be back!

Great food! Went here once and had huge portions, went another day when it was crowded, waited 1/2 hour to an hour for our food, and the portions were about half the size they were the first time. It always tastes amazing though!
