Based on a referral I called tip top roofing. I called two months after a hurricane based on a contractor's suggestion and made an appointment for the next week for an evaluation and estimate. I was told by Mark that I'd get a call Monday for exactly what time Wednesday someone would be out to my home. I took Wednesday off in anticipation and Monday got no call with the specifics on the time. I called Tuesday afternoon at 2:30pm and spoke with Mark again who said he had no record of an appointment but would ask Mike and email his sales people. I called 30 minutes later and he had no additional information (or apologies), just kept implying that I, not the company should know who I spoke with. I called back at 4:30 and spoke with a young lady who said it might be Joe, but everyone's gone for the day so she can't confirm and will know tomorrow. I explained that I'm not spending the equivalent of my Saturday at home waiting for a mystery person to show at an unspecified time because like others, my days off are loaded with to- do items. She basically said that if I didn't hear from someone yesterday that I shouldn't plan on waiting around. I couldn't agree more.....someone may or may not show up tomorrow, but if at 4:30 the day before they don't know who or when, I'm betting it'll be nobody. So they wasted a week that I could have had somebody else come out, and wasted my day off. Additionally, both prone answering the phones were fairly dismissive and not concerned or apologetic with the situation at hand. I can't say how good their work is, but I can say that if the experience so far is this good, I'm glad they didn't give me a chance to get that far.

Most professional roofing company ive ever experienced they do really good metal work .very dependable! Super happy

I just hung up from the phone, I've never called a company that was super unprofessional, as soon as he picked up he was sighing and yawning. They obviously are getting enough business from the hurricane so he didn't care to listen to what I needed to say. Thanks but no thanks, company is only accepting reroof because they can't be bothered with just repair. Unbelievable!

The tar this company uses must originate from China. After the tar application on my roof, I became ill and had to move out of my unit for several months. This is apparently common with low quality tar. Make sure, if you use them, to check the kind of tar the company plans to use. And I agree with the comments above, members of this company are rude.

Called tip top and was told they would NOT come to my house unless I was sure I needed NEW roof. Not just for an estimate!!!!! Terrible and very rude people that work for this company!
