I decided to my tastebuds to a tavern in Solon called the Tipsy Bull. Very Nice Chill Setting perfect for a Gameday watch party or just out looking for good food and a drink. We ordered a batch of BBQ chicken that were amazing! If you looking for some good wings this is a spot to checkout. The salmon wrap I had was delicious and came with a batch of fries. Also pictured is a buffalo chicken wrap with loaded fries. Everything tasted great and they provided great service. I definitely plan on visiting The Tipsy Bull again. If you ever are in the Northeast Ohio area be sure to visit this wonderful spot!
Yes, this is bar food, but it's really some of the best bar food I've had. My first order was at a time when other restaurants in the area were just too busy, so I decided to try a place I had never tried before. And I was shocked enough at the quality that I've kept coming back. The spicy chicken sandwich ranks up there with the best, the local beef burgers are amazing too...try them on a pretzel bun. And the fries are simple but great and plentiful. Even the salad was well above what you would expect from a "bar". This is now one of my "go to" restaurants, rather than a second option.
I don't recommend ordering online for pickup. Just did our second online order for pickup. The first was when they first opened and we were overcharged $2 for one item. Talked to the owner over the phone and was promised a refund. But she couldn't process it right then. Never saw that refund. Many newly opened restaurants have growing pains and service gaps that they later fix as the staff gets more experience. So tonight we tried them again. Another online order using their system that lets you specify exactly how you want each burger or other menu items. The kids meals on the order came just as ordered. Atmosphere seems like your standard sports bar/tavern with a bunch of tvs showing different sports. The loaded fries with beer cheese and bacon were pretty tasty. As often happens to fries after being in a to go styrofoam container with steaming foods, when we got them home they were a bit soggy. If they had still been crispy as I'm assuming they come in the restaurant they would have been amazing. We ordered two medium-well burgers, both were pink on the first bite. Both undercooked burgers were missing one of their ordered ingredients. On one burger we ordered the house chips that were great the 1st time, but we got fries instead. Called to discuss the issues and was told that the owner wasn't in tonight so they couldn't process a refund until she calls me tomorrow. Update 1: "Tomorrow" comes and goes and the owner never called. Update 2: I called 2 days later and talked with the owner. She was not pleased that I submitted a negative review the same day as my experience instead of waiting for her to call me back the following day. I was told she would not be giving me my money back because of that. I was told that with an online order if my burger was undercooked I could just microwave it. I was told that online ordering is something they do as a courtesy...and that basically their focus was on the in-restaurant experience. I was told they were unable to get their house chips and that they had told me that. I clarified that I was not told about the fries/chips substitution when I picked up my order. And that I only found out when I got my order home to find no chips. I was only told they were out of chips when I called to report the issues with my order. I was told that they cannot refund my credit card for issues with online orders. After explaining that I left no review after my first negative experience where I was overcharged, and then told by her that I would be refunded, but never was refunded she agreed to refund my money for the two burgers and what I was overcharged on my first order. But she could only do the refund as cash, so I had to come into the restaurant. That was about 1:20 pm. Update 3: I arrived at the restaurant around 2:35 pm and was told that the owner had left about a half hour earlier. The employee was not authorized to provide me with the refund. In order to get my refund, I would need to come back again when she was there. I was told she should be in between 6 and 9 pm. Update 4: This evening, before driving to the restaurant AGAIN, I called to confirm the owner was there. She was not there, but the night manager was and she said she would be able to help me. Once there, I had a very good conversation with the night manager and was provided a sincere apology, partial refund, and offered a free milkshake the next time I dine in. It should not have required me to wait a day with no response, call a second time, convince the owner to give me a refund, and then drive to the restaurant TWICE to get a refund for an order the night manager agreed included at least one burger that was not cooked to medium well. Until talking with the night manager, I'd written this place off entirely and never planned to go back. But the excellent customer service and approach by the night manager has me reconsidering that decision. Especially considering how good those loaded fries probably are fresh. But I'm definitely never doing an online order.
Great menu and specials. The Reuben was real corn beef not just lunch meat. Smoked wings were top notch. Music was in good taste and good level you can still talk. Lots of menu items we want to go back and try!Food: 5/5

Food was delicious! Ordered their Sloppy Joe Special, and hubby ordered a Cheeseburger which he said was amazing. Smoked chicken wings weren't very saucy but still good. Kids meal Mac and cheese is your basic kraft macncheese so our oldest didn't eat. Everything else was awesome. Will be back, as Everything on their menu sounded delicious.
Had never been before and was pleasantly surprised. Food and drinks were good and reasonably-priced. We went on a Monday at 6pm and got one of the last available tables. The buffalo chicken wrap, the rodeo burger, french onion soup, and portabella fries are all recommended.Food: 4/5
As I sat down at the EMPTY bar there were 3 people talking at the end of the bar. I was greeted-great but it all went downhill from there—Seriously-Nobody was in the bar or in the restaurant at all. I figured I would get great service-NOT THE CASE. I had to wave down the barkeep to get a drink and then I was ready to order food and I literally yelled out 3 times Im all ready to order-it was the 3 time she finally came over. AS I waited for my food order I seriously had to ask for another beer-that’s just complete nonsense! And yes it gets better I had to ask for things -continually. Apparently they don’t need the tip$… I miss George -he was the barkeep last week who was very attentive and took care of his patrons.
So a couple of warnings. One i advise you come hungry the portions are big. You certainly get your moneys worth. Two be ready for some of the best, nicest and passionate employees ever seriously it shows these folks LOVE what they are doing. Lastly be ready for an experience the likes of which your taste buds will forever thank you. They take alot of pride in their food and WOW lemme tell ya it shows. Try the tipsy tots they are to die for
Found this little spot on accident. So glad we did. Excellent menu! It was hard to narrow it down to only a couple options. The bartender George was not only taking care of the bar, but the whole restaurant! Service and food were excellent!Food: 5/5
