BEWARE OF Store manage Steve taking SHORT CUTS AND performing UNAPPROVED, NONCOMPLIANT "REPAIRS" to your vehicle without your knowledge or consent. My first experience with Tires Plus was great, bought new tires, everything was great, the following day my starter went out and I had the car towed 14 miles to get here because I was happy with the service Orester provided and confident with the repairs (for as little as I know about cars) However, today I am completely ALARMED and will not be taking my car back. I stopped in last night and made an appointment to drop my car early. I specified that i wanted an oil change and that I was concerned about a possible problem with the oil plug so i wanted that checked as well. I also asked for the free tire rotation that went with the tires. I also noted that i was getting ready to sell my car to a friend and would like for the mechanic to look over the car and let me know if there was anything else that needed to be done that a new buyer should be wary of because as a friend i would do my due dilligence to make sure the car was in peak condition. The guy who took my order advised all that would be no problem and assured me that a rep would be calling me in the morning before any work was done. I did not receive a copy of the order at the time of making the appointment, but was not concerned because i expected to hear from the mechanic in the morning to finalize the repair order after discussing my concerns with the mechanic and confirming the work required. Long story short, i got no call. I got a cheap oil change, because i had not specified high mileage blend (which is what I wanted, but was nevet prompted to specify the type of oil i wanted). The incomplete job order the night before guy had put into the computer only specified oil change and tire rotation....nothing else. So the morning mechanic did just the bare minimum without calling me to confirm the order. This irked me significantly, but it is not the reason I won't be back. In sorting out my displeasure with the poor communication and minimal service provided, the head mechanic Steve Store (the store manager and the guy in charge of poor Orester, who was left sweeping up the popcorn after this circus).... this store manager boldly advised that he had "done me a favor" by making unauthorized/unrequested and completely noncompliant "repairs" in addition to the minimal work done to my car. He had taken it upon himself to identify a jerry rig job on my air filter (evidently made by a previous unqualified back yard mechanic of equally poor work ethic) and without bringing it to my attention, proceeded to "repair" the damage by adding his own "improved" jerry rigging that involved a copper pipe. These non-standard (unethical, and ILLEGAL) repairs were made without consulting me and, had I not questioned the note regarding "previous damage", I would have never found out about the copper pipe rigging. This is exactly why people feel they need to go to the dealer and pay double for service... If steve wants to tinker out of compliance of automotive standards, he needs to go home and tinker on his own jalopy and hire qualified professional technicians trained in servicing modern cars to work n client cars. Let Orester focus on managing service communications with clients. AND if the intake tech promises a pre-work call, then that should be noted in the task order and followed through by Orester before pulling the car into the garage. Steve's excuse for making unauthorized repairs to my vehicle without first consulting me was that he was so busy with so many customers, and under staffed (no doubt he's having trouble keeping conscientious help employed), that they dont have time to communicate with owners. So here's my solution. I paid for the services that were requested and performed, and I advised him that I would not be back due to the non-approve back yard jerry rigging boldly done to my car without my consent. If you value your car, DON'T LEAVE IT HERE while this head mechanic is in charge of business.

Orestes Banagas is a very rude unprofessional tire sales manager. I was readjusted time frames, and spoken in way no manager should address a customer. I agreeded on the adjusted time frame and mentioned that I just would like to get the job done and that there’s plenty of other places that also provide tire/wheel services. There was some more none sense that came out of Mr Banagas which I just asked politely again let’s just get the job done and I’ll just a write a truthful review he immediately refused service and showed me the door. He spoke for tire plus and said policy does not provide service to reviewers that leave negative reviews. Save your selves some time and just go to community car care right down the steeet. From the quoted hour+ time frame for two tires to be mounted i made a appt same day with them and was in and out by 18 mins. Clean, friendly, professionals and great quality of work.

Did a nice job repairing my tire, but scratched the rim slightly. If your rims don't have covers, be sure to talk to them about not scratching your rims. Take a picture first.

In the beginning they were amazing. I came to them because a Merchants Tire place wanted to charge me 600+ dollars for tires and other services they were pressuring me into thinking I needed. They gave me 4 new tires for half what the other place wanted and I continued to come to this Tires Plus for work my car needed. And they have been nothing but inconsistent to that first wonderful time. I make appointments online for the convenience and they are supposed to email or call to confirm, after my first appointment they stopped confirming them. Which not only is unprofessional, its nerve wracking because if I walk in unconfirmed I could be waiting all day for a 20 minute fix because 10 other people also expected to come in at noon to have something done. And this unconformation has caused real problems. One time I went in to have an engine light checked (everything was fine) they replaced my battery too, and the mechanic (can't remember who) said my car wouldn't pass inspection because it was missing a corner due to a fender bender I had months prior, and that my "sway bar was loose" and that needed to be replaced before inspection too. And he told me if I found a compatible bumper he would install it. I thought great he'll fix it and everything will be fine. I spend 80 dollars on a bumper make an appointment (they fail to confirm said appointment) I show up with my bumper that I had to have my dad drive over because it wouldn't fit in my car and they tell me they don't do ANY body work. If they saw the appointment in their system and read my comment in the additional comments box why didn't they call me to say " sorry idk who told you that but they were wrong to do so we don't do blah" and not waste my time, their time and my dad's time? Completely unprofessional. And the same thing happened again today! My headlight was out my dad went and bought headlights with me (father daughter car stuff) and intended on putting them in himself, looked under the hood of my car ( a hybrid) and went "that's different, not sure if ill be able to do this" so I said ill go to Tires Plus they should be able to put them in. I make the appointment online and put in the comments box that I have the bulbs they just need to be put in there. And they do for the first time in a while actually email confirm my appointment. When I get there they refused to use my bulbs because of liability and warranty and said ill have to return them to the store. You actually confirmed my appointment for once and don't have the decency to call and say "he we don't use outside parts our price is blank for this to be done do you still want to come in?" I even opened a credit account with them to be able to afford the repairs I needed to get my car fixed before inspection because I work an hour from home and need transportation. I am going to close that account and never come back unless its something simple they can't mess up like and oil change. But they might screw that up too. Also their wait times are terrible. The lights today took over and hour and they were fully staffed.
