Joe Tobener is our go-to resource for any and all questions re. tenants' rights. He's trustworthy, reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and an all-around great guy. We first sought his council when we had a very messy and stressful situation in our condo complex with a broken sewer line that was impacting several units. It quickly became a contentious issue for all involved and in a matter of minutes, Joe educated us on our rights and put our minds at ease. His council was 100% spot on and he ended up saving us lots of time, energy and money. If you have ANY tenant rights issues, don't hesitate one more minute. Pick up your phone and call Joe. Once you talk with him, you'll breathe a sigh of relief and wish you had called him sooner.

Joe Tobener is the best! I recently consulted Joe to discuss a possible illegal rent increase and apartment repairs. As for most, my landlord experience in the Bay Area has been very complicated. Joe provided me with simple-to-understand and realistic legal advice (and not just the stuff I wanted to hear).

Joe Tobener was phenomenal in supporting me through my landlord woes. He helped me navigate the waters when a new owner purchased my building. Before speaking with Joe I was deeply concerned that I would be evicted from my place. Thankfully, Joe helped me understand the laws and my tenant rights. I never would have guessed that I had so many options. I'd definitely recommend Joe Tobener and his firm.

Tobener Ravenscroft LLP helped me get what was owed to me from a very difficult property manager. My property manager was threatening to hold my security deposit for bogus reasons. I contacted Tobener Ravenscroft for help, and a paralegal and attorney there were quick and understanding and helped me get my deposit back within the week! They knew just what to do. I recommend them without hesitation!
