Story

Tolima’s Auto Center handles collision work, other auto repairs, and tire sales and tire services for customers from Long Island City, Queens, and Astoria, NY, as well as surrounding areas. As a tire dealer, we feature tires from top brands including General, Continental, and Firestone. See us for passenger tires, light truck tires, and commercial tires. If you have an accident, we can help with your insurance claim as well as auto body repairs, frame repairs, painting and glass repair.

Our NAPA AutoCare Center is equipped with the latest tools and technology to assist our ASE-certified technicians. We handle your general automotive repairs and scheduled maintenance. As an automotive repair center, Tolima’s Auto Center performs quality repairs time and time again. Call us 24 hours a day if you need towing.

I've been a loyal customer ever since they were behind Shea Stadium. Back then Tolima's rebuilt my transmission at by far the most reasonable price I could find and it never broke down again. I've had 3 cars and I always had them serviced at Tolima's. Always friendly, honest, accommodating.

Tolima's is a Great auto mechanic.  They are easy to get to,  very professional,  and affordably priced.  This is one mechanic that you can trust!!!

Please Please Please read all the other 5 star reviews because they are certainly true about this shop. Oswaldo and his guys are OUTSTANDING, bringing professionalism and quality auto work to every customer at a reasonable price! I was extremely pleased from beginning to end of my first service with them, and it will NOT be my last. I REFUSE to go anywhere else for now on, I must go to Tolimas.

Some background info, I bought a 2004 Highlander for a low price and knowing that it needed work I looked for the highest rated Auto shop in Astoria/LIC. This shop was off the chart with amazing feedback from their customers so I gave it a try. They went above and beyond getting my vehicle to great shape. Oswaldo explained everything to me as far as what was going on with the vehicle, showing me pictures and breaking down the bill one by one explaining what was done and why it was done. I now have a trustworthy shop I can go to with any and every maintenance or repair. Keep up the amazing work! See you guys soon!

Fanstatic place to repair cars. George took care of everything once you set foot in the shop. He explained the problem, causes, solutions, waiting time, estimated cost, etc. And the cost is quite competitive.

They're friendly and polite crew. They know what they're doing. Price is reasonable. It's the first time that I visit this place and there is no complaints about this place. Everything perfect. And the most important, they fix the problem that my car had.
