We have camped here more than a dozen times and it continues to be a favorite. This lightly-used campground only has 7 sites but we have rarely seen it eve half full, often we are the only ones there. To the east is a rocky hillside that the kids love to climb and explore. To the west is willow-meadow with a small stream. We have seen a moose and her baby there on two occasions. Within the campground is a simple nature hike loop that is wonderful for a stroll or for the kids bikes.

Nice quiet campground. Only amenities are toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits but if you want to get away there is enough room for a large class A to boondock and relax in peaceful style.

Bear tracks and droppings everywhere. Initially adventured there looking for amethysts, but ended up leaving in fear of bear mauling.
