Great place for breakfast/brunch! Today was my first visit to this spot. I went with a friend that I hadn’t seen in a while and we had a wonderful time. I absolutely love the decor and all the different seating options. We came early on a Saturday around 9 AM and the place was mostly empty when we arrive but full by the time we left. I tried the spinach artichoke tomato pie based on the reviews and it tasted very good although it didn’t look like the most appetizing thing in the world. We also tried the chicken sausage which was phenomenal! Very flavorful! I had a cold brew with milk and honey which I highly recommend. Our server was very helpful and took care of us well. My mother said she recently visited this place for lunch and thought it was overpriced and the food was an impressive, but I had a good experience. Maybe their breakfast/brunch is better, so if you’ve been before for lunch give it another try.

Great place for lunch. My wife and I had the tomato bisque, she had a Cobb salad, and I had a Green Goddess sandwich (mozzarella & cheddar cheeses, arugula, and GG dressing on grilled sourdough bread). Everything was very tasty and service was good, though the cafe was hopping. Definitely worth going back, if I lived in Harrisburg I would be a regular.

Walked in and it was really busy so I asked if I could sit at the bar to get food. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes before a customer had to tell me you had to order at the register. Terrible service. Very disappointed. Was really looking forward to eating there and getting a latte. I ended up going to Ruby Tuesday. It was amazing how much better the service was. Instantly acknowledged me as a customer even though they were busy. If you read the reviews a lot of more recent reviews the service is declining...I  will never go back to tomato pie cafe.

The food here is amazing, particularly the monthly specials. The staff (hi Donna!) makes us feel like family. Just be careful coming in during the weekend brunch rush, as things can slow down a bit. Still, it just gives you more time to enjoy one of the best cups of coffee in town.

The food here is awesome, it reminds me of one of our favorite spots in Arizona.

However, it narrowly misses 5 stars because of the hit-or-miss service. Some days food arrives fast with no issues. Other days you will wait for 45 minutes after you order and nothing comes out right. 

Test your luck and you may have an incredible time - however I suggest avoiding them if you're looking for a quick lunch.
